  • I would buy that gym if i had enough moonay

  • Brb, packing bags. Moving to iceland.

  • techno viking!

  • I wish we had something like this locally, or a free Tracuer/Free-runner night or reduced rate night at a local gymnastics gym.

A couple of teenagers joined a session I was in with a few others guys, and we were all right with it. And then one of then broke something...ya you can bet we were NOT amused...we might get kicked out of the area now, and it is our BEST local spot for rails, not to mention many other skills we can work on...

  • I wish he would come to my gym...

  • I like his message at the end, it's sort of what I was trying to convey in the vid I posted on my channel! but I didn't say it nearly as well xD

  • I need more adventures friends. All we do is play vidyas. =/

  • @InsaneBillykane I know right! I'm the "Awesome" one of all my friends. so far I'm the only one to try a turn vault on a rail 20 feet in the air. I have maybe 5 friends who are intrested in parkour/freerunning. I'm the only one so far who has Trained hard and pursued it. The rest of em just like video games >:(

  • did he just fart at 6:32

  • @randomgaur nope that was the floor.

  • FAIL at 0.58

  • Yeah, I see your point (what I am doing is my way style.) Thanks for reminding me of that

  • como se llaman esos gimnasios?

  • haha ég spjallaði einu sinni við þennan gaur í nexus geggjað lengi. Hann er mjög flottur náungi

  • I want pk lessons but I am self taught and can't do a lot =(

  • @BrickBrothers99 me too :...(

  • @BrickBrothers99 Lol.. It doesn't come from your strenght.. alot of people learns it naturally also you don't need to be trained by anyone or copying others.. you have to do it your own way.. Parkour is about just making things faster, quicker.. it's not to be cool or show off..

It's all about the technic of your movement but the problem may be fear of height or failing painfully.. (which mostly happens but isn't that bad after a while it's actually funny)

  • @BrickBrothers99 All you need is youtube tutorials and practise, try to get some friends into it and train with each other one or two times a week

  • @BrickBrothers99 Keep Practicing, one day you will just get better...

  • im from iceland really and that guy with the beard and all hes my teacher and if i need to prove it well ??? my name is eiður andri guðlaugsson and ill talk icelandic yeah þið skiljið mig ekki þið munið kanski halda að ég notaði þíðingu en af hverju að fara í svona mikið bara til að gera commend ha hehe well bye youtube

  • this is real parkour

  • Sebastien looks like Australian Rugby Union Scrum Half Will Genia. Look him up and see for yourself!

  • do anyone else have a urge to go to iceland now?

  • @musicislife2021 i live in iceland :)

  • I wish I went there

  • i wanna have a gym like there too D:

  • more parkour less hamburgers/hotdogs.

  • @ninjawarrior2k and Coca Cola

  • What they have is good but they need to study the philosophy of Parkour to help them focus more on the disaster preparedness and emergency evacuation techniques and less on the gymnastics and tumbling.

  • @Ivantorri maybe ill cya there? lol

  • akkurat þetta er alveg agætt !

  • I wonder if those kids realize how privileged they are to be training with a man who was so influential in the development of the sport.

  • i want him to be my teacher and hes right about many things.

  • im moving to Iceland... fuck USA

  • @Kutter117 good job iceland is the best

  • hahahahahha ww w.youtube.com /wa tch?v=URFdxfcTZgU hear the voice!

  • Iceland!!

  • great respect for Sébastien

    -- From CA

  • I think with all the good parkour can do, for the body and the mind, you can see it becoming some sort of spiritual movement. Always notice that a lot of the practitioners have such an amazing attitude and respect.

  • damn i wanna train with Sebastien Foucan!!!!

  • he slipped at 0:55

  • @iFrostyPS3 Yes I slipped there.. Problem was i was looking at Seb and not the street in front of me.. fun stuff though.

  • @iFrostyPS3 And?

  • i just hope that the spirit of parkour/freerunning wont get lost through time because of all the media coverage. i admire sebastien's message. we dont need to compete. we are not any better than anybody else by claiming we are better than the other.

  • @levlinks24 Yeah, I agree I mean I like 3 run and all those guys, but media is making it very competitive.

  • I live in ohio and hear we have no gyms. We live in a pretty bad neighborhood. So me and a couple buds like too seperate from it all do training in urban enviroments. I wish we had gyms like yours.

  • @M4A1AcOg where in ohio?

  • @GodzilIa columbus. please tell me your close to clintonville??

  • Haha love Sébastien's face when he sees the gym. They sure as hell wouldn't do something as thoughtful for their youth here in France. Bloody government.

Also, thumbs up for a friendly and united community.

  • Loved this vid, great stuff,

  • Brasil...............

  • Beasting it up much

  • more parkour less soccer/football!

  • @danifortravel

for me its cool that parkour and freerun are not mainstream. Thats cool.

  • @danifortravel less comercial soccer because it`s also a good activity but the comercial soccer it´s shit

  • I live in Chicago and there are not very many parkour friendly places so I am learning these moves by ourselves so I think it's great that people donate there time to teach these kids what parkour really is. Keep up the good work

  • Terrific message to the young...very impressive :)

  • We have a club much like this here in South Wales (Ebbw Vale). It's great having a place to be with the pros and learn from them.

  • Do these people realize who he is lol? Fanboy ^^

  • I wish my country would realize parkour....... anyways, a gym is not compulsary for training. Keep doing parkour!

  • that gym is amazing! and they have like 12 people in iceland

  • "Gainers" sounded like "Gay nurse" the way Sebastien prounounced it XD

  • Sindri og Halli

  • I felt Sebastien's excitement watching this video ;))

  • Wow

  • Wow

  • omfg if i could have access to this gym or any gym just once in my life O.O

  • @metalpk93 live free. all you truly need is your body and some space to move.

  • @IcarusFlying yea but to learn new moves and flps u cant just go out and try on hard surfaces we dont have any equipments like this here in jordan all we have is few matts and a wall and offcourse gyms are made to make people comfortable and feel safe while training

  • @metalpk93 Actually, to learn new moves. You don't necessarily need a safe environment, you need to feel safe in your surroundings, make sure you know you aren't going to injure yourself: I learned a front flip without even going to the gym, yeah it took me a while, but it was my friends that gave me the confidence to do it. I have never trained in the gym, considering there's only me and my friend that basically train parkour where I live. :L

  • @sk8rb0i272 yea ur kinda right but for me im trying to learn a full twist off an edge but i consider this move dangerous if landed wrong (espicially for the knee) so i would really prefer a foam pit to try some in , but since i dont have one im learning them in the pool better than nothing :)

  • @metalpk93 Best of luck mang (: <3

  • @metalpk93 yeah having a place like that can be nice for trying stuff like that out. i mean for starters try developing the body first through body weight and flexibility. there's a lot a person can improve in on that. then once you're ready, you can apply movement to surroundings and softer surfaces. then hard :D it's nice to have, but what i mean is that not having this stuff should not be considered a limitation to developing oneself. all one truly needs is ones body and some space. freedom

  • I dont do much freestyle walkin' anymore, but i've been wanting to go to iceland for more than 5 years, i just learned of this facility. I am goin to Iceland Summer of 2011 but unfortunatley, i am broke and will not be spending time in the gym. I've been skateboarding more the past few years instead. but, iceland is better for your health and youre mind even if you are not into parkour or free-running.

  • Damn it... I'm so jealous. I wish i had opportunities like that, i've been thrown out of my "local" gym prolly 5 or more times for doing parkour/frerruning, people should really try and open their minds towards parkour/FR like as how they've done there in iceland, looks like a great parkour community. may the parkour and freenunning spirit never die!

    Peace

  • sick video ..someone like me always train in street and cold weather it's impossible to train in gym like that..4 years in street haha..nice message at the end and i'm never see this video befor and i'sais the same words to many peapol about parkour it's not about compitition ...you give example you sais england spain italy but why i'm never heard 'algeria'? we doing the same too ..hey we are here.. there is big comunity of algerian pakrour

  • thanks for the video! loved the message

  • beutiful!

    keep like that sebastien !

  • Sebastien, we need your voice here in India. That part at the end was awesome.

  • Absolutely fantastic, great channel idea Mr. Foucan.

  • lindo lugar

  • Sebastien is a true pioneer, awesome video.

  • so true, its not about being better than another person; its about you being better then you were before, as well as growing as a greater person. Being the best you can be in positive ways and hopefully helping others to see what they can be, to help them see the path for them to chase their dream and go where they never thought they could, while enjoying every moment of it as they move on and up as a being, bringing others with them and so on

  • I wonder if Seb gets all his Foucan shirts for free.. I want some merchandise too!

  • I'm 19 years old. Parkour totally changed my way of seeing the world and thinking. In Latvia, Riga we have a big friendly Parkour community, but sadly i don't have the time and money to visit the acrobatics gym. Still when I'm on the beach i go crazy and practice for fun. My friends still study Parkour whenever they can since the year 2000, and I think they never going to quit until they pass they knowledge to their kids.

  • @HeyAlbertify yeah man the same problem here no mony and the gym it's only for kung fu ..so i'train always in cold weather and aloneeeeeeeeeee but i'still train becuase i'love parkour

  • @parkour457 yes same here no one knows about parkour here or cares so no gyms

  • @SupriseImANinja

I agree. Even if competitions are fun for some people, It's mainly about the ego boost. Spectators and cameras. Fame and glory. When people get this ''Champion'' stamp on them It's for their ego, and not for other people. I agree with Sebastien; It's about learning, learning and learning. It's better to learn to help instead of learning just for your own good. If parkour became just a physical activity, like tricking, then it's not parkour anymore.

  • Ice Land is blessed with Parkour in almost any way possible.

  • @pkLipe Well, we have few outdoor spots for parkour.. well few in the city at least, the countryside is filled with nice spots. Volcanoes, mountains, tetonic plates you name it ( :

  • Good words, Seb. If everybody will do this, it would be sweet. Vey nice gym. I would like to have similar in my home town ;)

  • :O that gym :O someone in london should bulid one

  • ice land is so lucky :D

those ppl get to meet sebastien foucan !!

    haha i cant vv8 vvhen i meet him :P

  • Great job Sebastien (Y)

  • Sébastien is my all time idol, he's 36 and still going strong!! i hope i can do freerun til the day i die!!!

  • that was a fun day !:D

  • That message at the end is so important if only people could just wake up everywhere and really follow that message. All the hating on different groups happens far to much in an activity that should technically have such a strong community.

Making yourself a better person, this is what Seb follows and I'm with him all the way!

  • @SupriseImANinja we think so to this is the most important!

  • @SupriseImANinja You are so totally right, that is so important..

  • brilliant!

  • Seb is jesus !!!

  • I think the kids have no idea who Sebastien is.. n is there any footage of Seb n Kerbie?

  • @elgato49 Hes in the last of the four videos of the iceland trip.

  • Amazing Video !

  • oh, i would like to be there...

    i love this channel...

    Sebastien u r the best!:)

  • This proves that ''big jumps'' doesnt show if you are a good freerunner.

  • @RasmusCortzen

Agreed...Foucan needs to keep this up.

We as his fans should campaign dat he gets to travel to more and more countries with parkour and free running comunities to spread the message of what they represent and not the stupidity of ego-boosting and 1-spot tricks.

Seb we salute u...Taiwan is getting sum serious parkour & free running uprising community fast chek it out. Post more of such very very deep meaning and insightful videos. U r our idol of motion.
