I first saw this movie when I was 10 (1998), and wished I could rewind time and go to high school in the eighties when I got to that age. Over the years I saw the movie on TV from time to time, and finally bought the DVD about a year ago. Found this rare gem of a song after finally buying the movie. This movie never gets old, and this song is timeless.

There's another version of this song on the b-side of Life In A Northern Town called Poised On The Edge Of Forever which to me is superior to the one that is used in the film here, there is no sax and violins on it and it just sounds more from the heart - still it's a great song
