@TheCastellan Yeah thats still mint on card! I prefer this Hartnell as it's the most common Hartnell in terms of seen on TV. I do love the cloaked version though. The Three Doctors one in the 11 Doctors set doesn't do much for me as it's only seen in that story.

I was watching the Five Doctor's on DVD earlier , and i noticed that Richard Herndall does not wear the same Trousers , or even has the same Waling Stick , as William Hartnell as the original Doctor . Has anyone elsed noticed this ? cos im sure it's not just me .

William Hartnell's not in the 5 Doctors....he died in 1975. Richard Hurndell played Doc#1. Interestingly, he died shortly after that role.

I know all that , i was just saying that the Walking Stick isint the same one William used , and he never wore Gloves as far as im concerned . ive seen enough William Hartnell Episodes to know that ive never seen his Hands covered up , there allways seen with nothing on except a Ring which ive noticed in some Photo's taken during his time in the Role .

I've got a real dillemia here. I've just completed the classic series K.1 Robot collection, and want to to expand my classic series figures with a Doctor, but I can't decide which one! (not counting the 'Real Time' Colin Baker) So it's either Hartnell or Troughton. I don't know how long they will be in shops so I need to buy one of them soon. Which one do you think I should get?

I got mine today, the most annoying thing about the dalek is the eyestalk, you really have to force it in if it comes off. Great figure of William Hartnell, a true tribute to him.

The same thing happened with mine! When I took it out the box the eye came off and I had to really push to get the thing to go back onto the joint.

Well according to the new box set he is known as the Saucer Pilot and the black one the Saucer commander. But I always thought that the black one was the Dalek Supreme Controller, I'm sure they even call him that in the story. As to why CO changed it is anyones guess! LOL!

They won't be seeing a normal release. Apparantly the only way they could get the first three Doctors out was by doing them as exclusives.

My story has voices like those in the Chase. I was thinking about doing Invasion of Earth ones but at times they seem to have little modulation on their voices!

Thanks mate, I started last night and did a bit more this afternoon. Barbara and Ian look quite good up to Hartnell and the TARDIS looks so cool in black and white! I know I'm going to have some people moan about it being all in black and white, but I want it to be authentic LOL!

i have to say these are excellent figures, good on you, you where lucky and so was Josh, only he won't do a review knowing him. i hope to get mine Forbidden Planet have not said anything and i'm off to bournmouth tommrow so Josh, well have to tell me if i got a message or not. ok anyway i'm impressed with William Hartnall i think the sculpt is fabulos and the Dalek Commandor is amazing even in Black and White. i look forward to seeing Patrick Troughton and Moonbase Cyberman

Am I also being slightly pedantic by pointing out that, in the episode the Black Dalek is referred to as the Supreme Controller rather than Saucer Commander? The Saucer Commander is the Black/Silver Dalek that comes out in the next Dalek Collector's set. Yes, of course I'm being pedantic. Ignore me.

They are wonderful! I hope you can track them down on your trip! I've no idea why they changed the name. In my story its referred to as 'The Dalek Supreme Controller' as it should be. Perhaps CO thought too many Supreme Daleks would confuse people??? But the one in the new set is now known as the Saucer Pilot!! It's getting way too complicated!! The main thing is they're nice Dalek toys :D

The Daleks name is as written on the box, but I always refered to it as the 'Supreme Dalek'. I've no idea why they changed the name for the box LOL!
