  • Oh Boy! a part Two!

  • This was great! Thanks for your hard work and creativity!

  • Thanks for this video!! I have a huge psych exam tomorrow and I'm cramming for it tonight..this was very helpful so thanks!! :)

  • Glad to hear you all liked the video! Thanks for the feedback.

  • Thanks so much for this video <3 My anatomy final is in about a week and this really helped a lot! I laughed all the way through and learned at the same time. You are AWESOME!

  • 100% on my brain function test! thankss! amazing videoo!

  • A lot of Brain anatomy just needs to know a little latin and ancient greek.

  • I have a university exam on this tomorrow and this really helped, thanks!!

  • Love this video. So bizarre, but perfect.

  • Are you a professor? If you are, I'm so jealous of your students. My professor just yells at us :(. Haha, but thank you so much for these videos - very helpful!

  • Your videos about the brain parts are sooooo helpful!!!!! My psych teacher recommended them to me; thanks for uploading!!!

Also, to anyone else, if the pons thing didn't click my teacher said pons=yawns (see they rhyme:) and pons deals with sleep and facial expressions (you make weird faces when you yawn, and you're usually sleepy!)

  • YOU ARE AMAZING!!

  • I think of cerebellum as Sara is a ballerina and she needs to keep her balance to perform her dances :)

  • omgg i love this video so much! it helped me w/ both ap bio 2 years ago & now with psych 101 thanks!!

  • this video jst saved my life!!! was super helpful along with the part 1 video!!!!!

profesors should use this kind of teaching lessons!!!!!

  • for amygdala, i thought that a girl name amy in my class in grade school was mean and scary

  • @n0infoprovided786 Perfect! Use whatever make the most sense to you. Whatever image/thought from your life that is likely to trigger you. "Amy" will work better for you as a mnemonic device than MIG or Wig. Nice.

  • 2 people got scared of the wig

  • Thank you

  • Another one for Cerebellum could be Bellum. Bellum is the Latin word for war, and if the two forces in the war were equal in strength, their fighting forces would be balanced. :) Plus, since war has a lot of action and running, we could also attribute it to motor control.

    [yay for latin geeks]

  • This is just AWESOME.I officially admire you, PLEASE be my teacher.

  • amazing memorization tool - thanks so much!!

  • did you leave out the diencephalon?

  • As entertaining as part 1. And it just may help. :-)

  • I thought the Pons was for arousal, sleep, and relaying info.

  • This video is an excellent demonstration in proving that Visualization and Exaggeration are building blocks of strong memory!! Thanks for your great efforts! =D

  • This video is SO helpful. I'm sure that this will help me with my psych and anatomy!

XD I never would have imagined that there was a 'Tickle-me Freud' out there. How cute!

  • Yea - the Tickle-Me-Freud was a great gift someone gave me. Perfect for anyone in psychology. You can find it on Amazon. Glad you liked the video!

  • So, a way to tell if someone has a phobia is to use a scan (I forgot which one EEG?) and if the amydala is more active than normal (or active for something simple such as a pickle) then they have a phobia? Just one way of telling. Theres easier ways for sure. My psychology teacher also said that fear is more in the hippothalamus but the amydala is around that area which helps generate it. How does that work? Is there a part for each emotion? Or is fear more of a reaction?

  • This is great!!! =) Thank you for doing this!

  • Thank you sooo much! You are a genious :)

  • absolutely outstanding. Thank you! I was so worried about memorizing these for my Psych exam tomorrow, but i'm feeling pretty good right now.

  • Glad to hear it. Good luck on that test! Michael

  • This is great review for my Bio exam tomorrow! Thank you so much!

  • No problem. Glad you liked it. Good luck on the exam.

  • OOHH YAY Thanks for these videos I have a physio exam tomorrow!! It definitely helped

  • This would stimulate memorization better if you used curse words.

  • Curse words might make a mnemonic memorable, but only if those words are the kinds of words you use, or words you think you'd remember better because there is a little "shock" value to them. The more the mnemonics relate to you, your memories or your personal style, the more memorable they will be for you.

  • oh, that wig got my sympaticus activation going!

  • THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!

You're like Bill Nye the Science Guy for College Students!

  • you are great!! thanks..never thought this would be my method of studying in college! but hey whatever works right?!

  • Absolutely. If this helps you get a better grade on a test, then why fight it?

  • My amygdala was activated when that wig came out =|.

  • quality vid, a for effort too...vid of a pond lol

  • awesome... you are a really great person for making this!!!

  • this made me laugh so much, and it was really helpful too!! thanks a lot!

  • SO HELPFUL!!!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

  • the wig is very funny LOL

  • THanks for posting this video. I found it to be EXTREMELY helpful.... Now, if only you could change my instructors teaching style to be like yours...what do you say??? *smile*

  • This is also very helpful for A&P- my old brain is very appreciative :)

  • hahahaha a wigdala

  • great job!

  • jelly heart

  • This helps a lot! The things a biopsychology student does to pass lol...

  • HAHAHA When you freaked out because of the scary wig, that was the funniest thing ever. This was amazing. I'm so glad I saw this.

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU! I have my psychology midterm tomorrow and this video has helped me so much. The one problem i was having was memorizing the functions of each part of the brain. I am much more optimistic for tomorrows exam now! Thank you!

  • Like honestly, this video couldn't have come at a more perfect time for me! I'm taking Physiologial Psychology this semester and there are tons of new terminology, that was diffucult to remember. This video was great and really helped! Your awesome! Keep up the good work. When is part 3 coming out through?
