as a side note: what the fuck is chris matthews talking about how you can't "become french"? what nonsense. france, like the usa, is composed of many ethnic groups, and these various ethnic groups share a cultural identify. why would it be any different than it is here? he's just telling us what we want to hear, how we're so great.
