  • I've had this done before. Most painful thing. EVER! and I didn't get any pain pills. I hobbled around for three days.....on vacation.

  • Good heavens, it's almost BLUE.

  • IS THAT ON HIS ASS??????

  • I don't think I would have been able to handle this nearly half as good as you did! I hope you feel better and never have to go through this again!

  • This happened to me and the pain was so intense that i couldn't move. It was embarrassing laying bare assed on a table a few times a week for checkups, especially since I'm female!

  • Just had the surgery to get the root out. Half my ass crack us sowed up.

  • The worst part about it almost has to be the location of it ... right above the crack of his ass (if I was seeing it right). There really isnt any way you can positiont yourself without haveing some kind of pressure on it, I dont even think I can begin to imagine the pain that might have given.

  • Im dutch and try to find the word polionidal, but the dictonairy didn't say anything, is it different than a normal cyst? And I really find it hard to watch, because it looks very painfull.

Im sorry to read all comments from most of you, that the cyst is coming back and you all have to remove it again and again. Good luck to all of you with this painfull cyst.

  • Man I know how you feel! I had to get one lanced 3 times and I'm lucky it hasn't returned! They are SO PAINFUL. You did better than I did. I was screaming and cussing a storm...

  • Well UPDATE : As of Last night I had it cut open for the 5th time since it returned in July of 2011!!!! It's painful to the point where I can't walk, sit, sleep, or stand... Well, It was anyways.. Now since it was cut and I have antibiotics and painkillers, I can atleast accomplish these daily things. I have seen 2 surgeons and the er doctor wants me to return sunday for her to check it.. She felt terrible for me! It's so disgusting.. Noone should have to deal with this.

  • That and I can relate to the awful smell thing. Every time mine came back I had to deal with this snot consistency puss and blood infection almond smelling drainage. I had one lancing, three surgeries to remove the cyst and two afterwards to clean out the recurring infection.

  • I can tell you personally that these things SUCK! I had a total of 5 surgeries to correct my problem cyst. They ranged from lancing it in the doctors office to the last surgery that left me with a train-track scar about 14" long and lifelong pain. The mass they removed was so large that they also had to do reconstructive surgery on the muscle. The doctor said he could have put his desk phone in the hole. That was 10 years ago and I have pain every day. Hope his outcome was better!

  • It took me a while to realize that was a butt.

  • I can't believe you let them do this while you were awake. I make them put me to sleep!!! I have had this done 5 times. I had the full surgery to remove it. It came back 4 years later!!!!!

  • I've had this about 6 times, and im not kidding. i think its the worst pain i have ever felt, and the smell is for sure the worst thing i have ever smelled hands down. i was sleeping on my couch once and it popped (i instantly woke up) the liquid got all over the couch and we ended up throwing it out because we could not get the smell out.

  • "Ahhhh that's better... I can ride a bike again!"

  • I was just at the doctors yesterday with my GF. She had one that looked exactly like this. The smell was enough to make me vomit in my mouth. Did the same thing with the scissors too, open scissors and watch the pus come flowing out like a volcano.

  • I still have a scar from mine :/ I was in so much pain they just put me out to drain it :l It was done on easter which made it even worse because I was to sleepy and in pain to have fun with my family.

  • has it recurred?

  • I just had my cyst removed today. Had the whole surgery.. 8 week healing time is gonna suck. I have a hole an inch deep!

  • @JeffIsCool666 damn yo 8 week what they did sttiches i went to emergency on sunday and they did little operation my was on my ass above the anus he put somethings there my was like a boil it swell he cuts little bit and if its looks ok by wednesday no surgery if not ima have 1 this shit fucks u up man couldt go to work or out man i think they didnt close that hole thas why it might thake 4 to 8 week right if this happen on ur back above the booty sttiches not work if its between ass they wor

  • I have something similar just not that big not that much. When its inflated its the size of a pea when i pop it because it turns into a little baloon minimal puss with blood come out then a whole is there smaller than a pea i put some anti biotic cream around it heals in a week or 2 and comes back a month or so. How much is the surgery i am uneployed.

  • Awwww on his booty. . .

  • You're lucky you didnt need surgery... My first and second time, it came back within six months... When it came the third time I just had the surgery. Post-op hurts like hell and requires alot of attention but it hasnt been back since (2 years).... Good luck !

  • Shit looks like a vagina yo.

  • how many days did he wait to get it out???

well i had it and took homeopathy treatment and with in 3 days the pus was drained out all by itself no surgery and no digging!!!

  • @pramodjonah

Just wondering what that homeopathic remedy is, I have reoccurring pilonidal cysts and go through plenty of pain throught out the day.

  • @TheBj1208 Hey TheBj1208,

I suggest you to consult a homeopathy doctor instead of self treatment.

Actually I've consulted 3 doctors out of which 2 were dumb. They wasted my time & money.

the doctor gave me different kinds of medicines like mother tincture and 2 different kinds of pills, cream to apply.

The selection of medicine in homeopathy varies between people, selecting the best medicine is crucial.

so please consult any doctor who has experience with this kind of disease.

  • @pramodjonah weak.

  • @pramodjonah You were lucky then.

  • Thats gross. I have to get the actual surgery on me. No lancing straight digging out all that. and the sinus as well.

  • I went in for my polinidal cyst excision surgery last friday. Of course the surgeon knocked me out for mine but I guess these things can get really bad. I had two different cysts with numerous "sinus tracts". I'm currently using negative pressure wound therapy "wound vacuum" and " wet to dry" or "wet to moist" dressings. Try to keep the area clean and free of hair. This things suck!!!

  • Kinda ironic her saying "that's a nice sized slit" at the end and all.

  • @fuzzface100 : It smelt AWFUL! Even the dr ( who wished to not be filmed) turned away several times due to the smell. It made me nauseous when I first caught a wiff of it haha. @ARTSIEBECCA he was in alot of pain from it! It affected both is business and personal life. It was terrible :( I'm so glad it's over with but I'm sure that it will come back, the packing fell out the next day or so. =/

  • @lostspirit187 I'm just wondering if this has come back again? From what I understand to stop it they have to take out that entire area - it's pretty awful but it's either infection after infection or 1 tough surgery!

  • Mmmm, bet that smelled reaaaally bad.

  • Well, hell, please see my comment below. Thanks. It is re: the mechanism causing the cyst.

  • Years ago, I had one of these. It got infected, and in only 2-days, it swelled up bigger than a golf ball! After getting it lanced and clearing up the infection, I needed surgery to take out the cyst. I have a theory about the cause: I think it is part of our human evolution away from having tails. There are still some follicle cells in the area that want to grow hair. This makes the cyst. Of course, if you are a Creationist, just forget what I said just now.

  • OMG those are so painful. I had one years ago. Thank god it never came back!

  • It's a pilonidal abcess , then treatment is simply incision and drainage . However if it was not inflamed or if it was merely a pilonidal sinus , then treatment would entail complete excision. As for the guy not having much hair , I just performed a pilonidal sinus a while ago on a girl with no hair on the surface whatsoever. But inside the wound there was a collection of hair. Can you believe that the exact mechanism of these sinus/ abcess are unknown . One of the theories is that in hairy peo

  • Thanks for sharing a cyst in a rather embarrassing place. He doesn't even look very hairy back there. Hopefully it will drain and heal without more surgery.

  • Boyfriend is pretty cool letting you video his cyst being lanced. Make sure he follows doctor's orders. He would not want to have the cyst operated on. He would be out of commission for a couple of weeks. Hope he heals fast.

  • Bless his heart (and tush, of course). Those things are supposed to hurt like hell... I hope he feels better and follows up with a doctor -- Sometimes pilonidal cysts recur and require a pretty major surgery to remove. Hopefully, his won't recur! Good luck!
