I've never played a KoF game before, what separates this from BlazBlue, Tekken, and Street Fighter?

@EddieLowFilthSlayer A whole lot of things. For once, it's entirely 2D, so all comparison with Tekken is right out. Its engine has got more universal features and more flexible movement for every character; commands are overall simpler and throws are easier to break. The game rewards offensive, combo-heavy play, but still has a variety of grapplers, and you always have something to do even as you're getting pounded. Lastly, characters are varied and most of them are atypical.

I just like to pay attention to the amazing details in those stages, they're really beautiful! After i noticed i went to look it up but all i read was that the character was supposed to be Kizuna Encounter's Jyazu. But the stance and outfit make it very obvious that it's Marco, especially since Marco's partner Fio and Mars People can also be found in this stage.

Sure it's blockable, but:

- Ralf isn't standing there for a few seconds, making himself bait for a throw.

- You can combo into Galactica Phantom now.

- If you can connect the move (at close range, most people won't see it coming,) you can cancel into Ralf's Neomax for Epic Win and Massive Damage!

This game is already so much better than the previous version...looks and plays amazing and the mechanics are fucking awesome...I hope that the EVO tournament considers this as a playable title in their competition cuz Im sure that players out there are beasts at this game.

I also hope that the home console version has more characters...I mean dont you want to improve the game by means of graphics but also content? This game can easily top the roster on Tekken 6 and thats 41 characters total.

Is this the newest KOF? Is this game hard to learn? How do people generally set their order? Best character first or do they use their best as an achor and pick their 2nd best first with a decent middle character then the char they're best with last?

@wDawks If you've played SFIV or any recent fighting game then no, the difficulty of getting into the game should not be an issue. However, KOF has its own unique metagame and set of dos and dont's. For instance, as a general rule jumping in SFIV is bad and can lead to some severly damaging situations. In KOF, short hoping/jumping is your ideal way to land a bread and butter and a free mix up opprotunity. See what I mean? It will feel familiar, but new.
