Dwell is how long your bolt stay's forward before returnin back to be ready for the next shot. Allowing more air to propell the ball, and lowering efficiency, the proper dwell is crutial

when your gun is on your eyes are on but when you push the power button again it will switch off your eyes and all you have to do to switch the eyes on again is to push the power buton . have you just bought the gun

dwell is the amount of time (in mile seconds) it takes your bolt to move forward and back again.

(ex: 30 dwell = 30 mile seconds forward and back)

thats not true on the ion a dwell of 0 is actually an 8ms minimum then each dwell increment is .5 of a milisecond so a dwell of 12 is 8 + .5(12) = 14ms. And dwell is actually the amount of time the board gives power to the solenoid so it is actually the amount of time allowed for the bolt to move/stay forward.

its better to find the lowest dwell that cycles your marker... I just say 45 because its the highest dwell that shoots 17 bps and since everyones guns are different as a general rule i say 45 because ive had some people tell me the bolt wont cycle at 45. so keep a high success rate of my advice while shooting 17 bps i say 45...

also at any dwell lower than 45 if you put your Recharge to zero, the board will automatically cap it to seventeen.

no this is a critical trigger, in the pictures at the end there is an NDZ roller blade if thats what you mean... but in the video it is critical

The stock board works great and is really simple, and easy (for me) to understand, the modes are Semi Auto, Ramping (called rebound in the manual), 3 shot burst, and full auto.

Nppl- uses semi

PSP - uses 15 bps capped ramping (Rebound)

NXL - uses 15 bps capped full auto (3 shot buffer)

Millenium - uses 15 bps capped semi

ask your feild what you should use... most are semi

a QEV stands for Quick exhaust valve its basically what it says a quick exhaust valve which allows air to vent out of the front of the bolt faster and gives you much faster cycle speeds because the bolt moves forward faster. This large increase in cycle speed allows you to lower your dwell and use less air.

its all personal preferance but i reccomend either the NDZ rollers or the Critical because they have those set screws that push the microswitch as you can see in the video.

Dwell is the time your board gives power to the solenoid.

When power is given to the solenoid it pushes the armature up when this happens (on the ion) air from the front of the bolt is allowed to escape. The longer the dwell time the longer the armature stays up and the longer the bolt is allowed to move/stay forward, so a low dwell might not let the bolt reach the sealed forward position before the armature comes back and blocks the air escaping, and a dwell too long keeps the bolt forward too long wasting air.
