I think it's generally accepted (in korea) that 2pm is one of the more masculine and macho/manly second generation idol group. shinee (and the rest of sm company boys) almost always have the pretty, flowery boy image, whereas 2pm is the more sexy/manly one, that's why when you watch variety shows, the captions often label 2pm as sexy or beasts (or sexy beast, lol), so it would be reasonable to say shinee in general is "prettier"
