Actually. Right before Amtrak cancelled this Train. Which was May 11 1997. It did have a full consist. The year it was cut. It had 3 to 5 Coaches, 2 sleepers, Crew Car, Diner, Lounge and a full Baggage Car. But back during the early 90s. It had 5 cars per train. One lounge Car, 2 coaches, 1 Coach Baggage and the Sleeper on the rear. And it either had 1 (or sometimes 2) F40, one P32-Pepsi Unit or the AMD-103/P40.
Very cool! However, (to be a dork about it) Amtrak's Desert Wind never carried a dining car, just a single lounge car, and it's power was USUALLY a single F40. But thats a good lookin model train ya got there!
