around 10 frps. That's kinda what i would expect from intergrated graphics. I can play it at 60+fps on my GTX 260. Intergrated graphics aren't ment for gaming. I'm REALLY surprised you got the game to run at all.

or he could go nvidia! and get shader model 3.0 support. my friend has an xpress 200 and we hit the shader 2.0 wall alot in other words i mean alot of the games he wants to play require shader 3.0. ones like GRID is one i pull off the top of my head. also his xpress 200 plays crysis fairly well compared to this he gets 15-20fps with lowest settings and a command for 640x480 res

yea it is. xpress series is integrated graphics and is always horrible. i assume ur talking about a laptop and yes the HD series will always be better than the xpress series.

well its hard too for laptops. they dont have much room to dissipate heat. so if they were to get a higher clocked integrated it would get very hot. also by the time you make a good integrated you might as well just by a dedicated.

i have an inspiron. but no this is not a gaming laptop by any means. it was 400 dollars. i used to play halo 1 and it played it at about 30 fps so youll be fine on that. but oblivion would be a joke on this comp. idk about morrowind but im assuming itd suck too.

i dont have vista so i cant play it anyway. but u will be able to play crysis or halo 2 but justs not very well. i mean im getting barely 12 fps with everything on low at 800x600. in halo you might get 20 fps on those settings.
