I know Siamese dream and Mellon collie & the infinite sadness are just spectacular albums, but there is something so raw, so moving, this disc can just transport you to places by just listening to it, it is truly one of the greatest albums of all time
@obscurebandfan I think it's funny when I was flipping through channels once she was in a video, and she said her all time favorite band was Iron maiden, and then it made me think then what the fuck is she doing making shit music for?
Why do comments always HAVE to mention today's music? When will I find a Smashing Pumpkins video where all the comments refer to the Pumpkins of similer bands?
@brutalsea1 Congratulations, you just made your self look like an idiot. You would rather listen to a a drag queen than a really good rock band ha ha ha ha.
@SuperSiamesedream I don't get it. You were born AFTER this album came out. You were not around when these great albums of the 90s came out. You were watching Barney and Power Rangers. But its best to enjoy them now that you are older. Good to see you realize how much music is SHIT today.
Music ain't all bad there are tons of great bands out there Poets Of The Fall, Cage The Elephant, Breaking Benjamen, Over Dust, The Fray, Avenged Seven Fold, Sunrise Avenue, and many many more. You just have to look harder and even be willing to listen to some bands from other countries like Scandinavia.
@scaldabanco357 I have started to dislike Over Dust because they're going techno, and Breaking Benjamin are not for everyone but really Poets Of The Fall and Cage The Elephant are truly 1990s style.
i saw Smashing Pumpkins live in Seattle in 1993 at a little club behinde the space needle called "the oz" which doesn't exist any more. Place was tiny, only could fit maybe about 300 people and it was easy to get close up. Since the place was called "the oz" Billy did a version of "over the rainbow" which was funny as shit but very well done at the same time. This song is amazing, especially when it was performed live at small hole in the wall venue. Timeless!!!
god i wish could've been a teenager in the early 90's....im 13 now and the smashing pumpkins are one of my favorite bands alongside nirvana, radiohead, the meat puppets and many more....oh well atleast i have the internet to find out about these just amazing bands
@hupajupa I grew up with em all. It was the best time of my life. We had no internet to research any bands, its was all by word of mouth or seeing the videos on....gasp...MTV. Yes, they used to show music videos lol.
I used to think this was the worst Pumpkin's album, until I came back to it again, for the thousandth time. I realised, that there is no worst Pumpkins album. If you don't spend your time listening to one your going to think it's one of the worst. I don't have a favorite album of this band because quite frankly, they have made the best music I've ever heard in my entire life. Been my favorite band since I was five years old. I was such a pimp child.
@Dogapsa just think how different the song would be compared to the rest? it would be like tom morello playing know your enemy for the first time to a crowd of people :o which he did and everyone looked pretty dumb xD
Definitely! I love all of Billy's music, but to me there's something special about the psychedelia! I'm really hoping that he brings out that musical part of him for Teargarden again!
when you fight back thets exactly what they want. don't bother wasting your time on them. they don't know what they want out of life yet. let them have their so-called fun.
I feel soo old now. But it's a good feeling while listening to this.

I gotta say, the album cover is actually quite horrid haha...but the band's creativity and uniqueness make up for it.

Is this about tripping on LSD?, the video was sort of suggestive of this, plus the whole mood and the wide angle shot...
