Big problem is you show a 90ci 4500psi tank, and what airsoft field can fill this? i think if they have to buy $12000 compressor system, the airsoft typical low admission will be out the window. And if this air system, which is old news in paintball, as you say has no problems, I'm only wondering why the paintball have a lot of problems. I own a Paintball Shop and I switched to airsoft to get away from this types of guns.
@YeoldBacon You're right when you imply airsoft fields don't have authorized filling stations for HPA tanks but I am lucky enough to live relatively close to a Paintball shop and since I play almost ever other week, I can just fill up my two tanks and they will last me the whole day. The airs system while the concept might be old news, I can guarantee that the engineers at Polar Star have made their system, the Fusion engine, more resilient and with the FCU unit, more advanced then one would
i have a homemade hpa system on my echo 1 scar and i think its the coolest thing i have ever seen and its homemade.i can barely imagine how the polarstar would perform.it sucks how they beat me to it but its ok,i already have mine and didnt have to buy theres

His facts were off, and he used words like Boughten, after saying something was stupid... I hate you for exposing me to that. Not liking a design is fine, DOnt buy it, but to call it stupid and bash it without having had experience with it, kinda kills credibility for me..

@Zack - We could have redesigned the AEG gearbox but it would not have been worth the effort. A redesigned AEG gearbox would have been much more expensive than the Fusion Engine (setup, molds, tooling cost, etc) and it would still be restricted to an AEG's limited performance range. Sure an external air rig is not for everyone and that's ok. There are plenty of AEGs to choose from.
This is a great video. I saw a response video, maybe this it? If so I will approve it. I liked the video a lot. The thing that makes me mad is the idea of having a hose and tank. I can't get it into my head, with all the AEGs I bought, I love unboxing and shooting without the hose and tank. I don't see this working for me, I'm more old school. I wish Polar Star did figure out a way to make the gun without a hose and tank. I said they couldn't recreate a gearbox, it's because it's a lot of work.
