The evolution of life is much more complex than the building of a house or painting. While a painting needs a painter, all sort of things go into the evolutions of life. There does not need to be a creator if chemical reactions and such allow the production of complex chemicals as they do. Perhaps life really isnt that special, because its just a biproduct of the laws of physics. It just seems that way because we arent smart enough yet to know otherwise.

i'm a christian and i have never understood why God and science have to be mutually exclusive. Evolution is a theory.I agree with parts of it and some parts are rather presumptuous and people tend to parade every aspect as fact. but even evolution cannot explain everything in the universe. Many christians make the mistake of quoting the entire bible as absolute fact. But atheists do the same with the theory of evolution. In the end no one can know for sure. Its just a question of faith.

i'm a christian and i have never understood why God and science have to be mutually exclusive. Evolution is a theory.I agree with parts of it and some parts are rather presumptuous and people tend to parade every aspect as fact. but even evolution cannot explain everything in the universe. Many christians make the mistake of quoting the entire bible as absolute fact. But atheists do the same with the theory of evolution. In the end no one can know for sure. Its just a question of faith.

The problem with your point is this; Evolution is fact and theory. Life changes, adapts, and the fossils and DNA we have found shows we evolved from lesser beings as did every other plant/animal/fungus/microbe. We see things change ever so slightly today such as the peppered moths of England or the salamanders of California. The theory of evolution explains how it may have happened. So far the evidence supports the theory entirely.

ALL of these things are accepted as proven (by scientists and anyone who takes science seriously). A scientific theory has a means to be disproven, yet no one has been able to disprove. I'm more amused by the fact that comfort seems to think that things that are manufactured are the same as things that reproduce. If I see two cars able to bang and produce a baby car, I will believe that the cars don't need a maker, I will also be as confused as hell, but that's an entirely different issue. Not facts or tangible evidence, but a book that is at least from the 4th century (probably much older), and has been rewritten and skewed many times in those several years. Religion: A set of beliefs and doctrinal studies concerning the nature and purpose of the universe.
Now that you know this.. EVOLUTION is a religion. CHRISTIANITY is a religion. Both beliefs. Don't talk to me about my beliefs and I'll leave yours alone. I merely said there is no "God" reffering to the definition of "God" in English terms.
