  • Zero Shiki Drop Shot.

  • @Jinjo402 MADA MADA DANE

  • @HitmanALegend YUDAN SEZU NI IKOU

  • poor falla ... he was so close of winning that match..

  • but his wife isnt so stunning

  • @priorxerox Another guy who only cares about looks

  • perfect

  • beautiful!

  • New balls please ! LOOOOL

  • @TheSweatdreams94 Why is that funny?

  • @juliansa74 >.< the dropshot was so perfect that the referee though the ball was damaged ...

  • @TheSweatdreams94 oh ok...didn't think it was funny, but ok....I think the referee was going to call for new balls anyway

  • roger only plays well when he has long hair

  • love the long hair.

  • I feel for Djokovic and Nadal. Both of em are playing such an impressive game, yet they will never be Roger

  • @hjmkyhlmj yeah, and visides that , their game is very physcal and there is a lot of body wear, so they probably wont last as long as fed

  • Gotta Love invisible tennis!

  • 0:06 = Zero Shiki Drop shot in real life.

  • gotta love the hair

  • Fed almost gave me a heart attack in this match. Scared the bejesus out of me.

  • Where's the ball..

  • Federer's best drop shots ever were all in Shanghai at the Tennis Masters Cup, look for that!!!

  • KING OF TENNIS <3

  • Speechless......

  • that was amazing

  • deadly shot

  • its funny when someone say its not hard one, doing drop short not hard (yes) but doing drop shot like this with high spin on the grass and the ball stop when it touch the ground in the hard !

  • oh my god the first dropshot is just so perfectly at all!

  • i'm really getting tired of watching the fist pump. not just from federer but over all of tennis. another thing is tennis players falling to the ground right away after a tournament win.

  • @golfmaniac007 some (especially on the women's side) do first pumps on 50% of the points they win, but with Fed and most other top male players it's not the case. Actually, how would you want to celebrate an important point otherwise, suddenly start running with your arms spread, or doing a Russian dance? I can't think of anything more natural than a fist pump. And falling on the ground which happens at times is because tennis is a physically tough up and down sport unlike for e.g. golf

  • @Elwink don't be fooled by my youtube ID....i'm a tennismaniac as well. just saying the fist pump is getting old. the laying down after a match is over can be done after the hand shake. its just cheesy is all i'm saying. tennis players do some of the cheesiest things compared to other sports.

  • @golfmaniac007 yea but i think it's just the dimension of the sport, if you check some winter sports or, well, many sports really that have physical contact or a lot of emotional stress, you're gonna see that. I don't know the English names of some of the sports I see on TV here but there are fist pumps constantly as a crowd is watching on. It's part of the battle, I would be more annoyed if it didn't exist, no emotional let-out. What I do dislike is fist-pumpers like Ivanovic after most shots.

  • THIS IS TENNIS. STOP ARGUING ABOUT SOMETHING THAT ISNT TENNIS ON A TENNIS VIDEO.

  • I am a 4.5 player and can tell you that a drop shot specially on the backhand is not that hard to pull off ,shit people in 3.5 through 4.0 depends on this short almost entirely lol, specially on a dead ball , now if the ball is low and fast yes ..beleive it or not one of the most difficult shots in tennis is an over head on a huge slice lob ...those suckers just hang up there and it is hard to time it and if you let it bounce you risk getting a ball that is not high enough to smash ...

  • @venom400 Yeah.. Drops shots are not that hard...No shots are that hard. It's hard to do them well enough so they won't become your coup de grace.. It's easy to do a drop shot when you are close to the net, but if you don't do it well the opponent will destroy you.

What's unique is the drop shot from afar, from the baseline. Nobody does that as well, as masterfully and as consistently as Federer does.

  • @pep1815 How about djoko ? he is the modern player that started over using this shot , and he does it quite well , I agree about the drop from the baseline

  • @venom400 Djoko is good, but Fed is in a different league. Grace, ease, effectiveness...

  • @pep1815 Federer can become too reliant on it and has botched a few important points in his career when he could hit a solid approach shot and win the point. Murray is the worst though of the top players with relying on it.

  • @pep1815 gasquet, nalbandian, murray and even nadal, have very good drop shot´s, as well..

  • @extradutyfelt1

What? You compare their dropshots to Federer's?

Especially the clumsy ones of Murray's and virtually nonexistent of Nadal's ..lol..

Man.. People have no clue about the sport.

  • @pep1815 im not comparing! and if you think those player´s I mentioned, don´t have good drop shot´s, you are not paying attention!

  • @pep1815 True that. Great stamina, good court coverage and powerful shots can be attained with hardwork and determination. But, Federer has the grace and beauty in his play, that cant be attainted with practice. Its gifted by the almighty and its just sheer fortune. His play is the purest form of eye-treat one can obtain, after a women's naked body. ;)

  • @pep1815 dont forget class

  • @pep1815 o really?

  • @pep1815 That's tough to say, man. I mean Federer can beat Djoko, but now Federer can't beat Nadal. But Ndal can't beat Djoko! The tournaments these days all come down to who plays the other one of the big threee first.

  • @Dreadlord67 "can't beat Nadal"?

Federer just destroyed Nadal 6-3, 6-0 at World Tour Finals 2011.

  • @pep1815 Think about the matchups they've had since then? Nadal...Nadal....Nadal. Congrats on beating him in the past?

  • @pep1815 and nadal beat federer at the aus open

  • @pep1815 Djokovic is the best right now, but Federer is also approaching 31 years old. Even then, he's still the only guy in the men's game who gives Djokovic REAL trouble.

If Federer could have held his nerve after jumping out to big leads against Nadal, he'd have won 22 Slams (at least) by now. For some reason, he over thinks everything against Nadal the moment he makes an error or misses a first serve. And yes, the match is almost ALWAYS on his racquet.

  • @pep1815 I concur, Ernest Gulbis.

  • @venom400 If you ever drop shot like that in front of millions of people, at wimbledon, on a crucial point.. you come back and talk your egotistical bullcrap lol

  • @TheDrowsyMadcap how is my crap egoistical ? I am just stating the truth , some shots in tennis look harder than they are , I am not taking stuff away from Fed or any top 10 player , I am sure I couldn't get a single game of any of this guys ..

  • @venom400 hold on... you're saying a drop shot is an easy shot?? what sorry 4.5 league are you in? if you can consistently hit drop shot winners then either you shouldn't be playing 4.5(i doubt this is the case) or you're playing against bums.. there's a reason a drop shot is the LEAST used shot in any high level of tennis = college and beyond.

  • @flexmann100 Its not how good your opponents are, but how good your own game is.

  • @venom400 If you can play it like this, you wouldn't waste your time on youtube, you would be practising on court, but you aren't so! just be quiet until your also on tour. And just because you got 4.5 you don't have to think your good.

  • firstly, what is ignorant about using a common phrase to bring across not only my opinion but that of many people i have spoken to and many critics.

secondly, i couldn't care less about a bloodthirsty war in iraq over some "nuclear weapons" this discussion is about football, nothing else.

thirdly, the fact that you have called me ignorant for using a common phrase then diverted the topic to war is not only rude but is a very unjustified and irrelative.

  • @iMrRussell I just showed you with a political example that your expression "general knowledge" means nothing and it's used only by liars and idiots.

And "general knowledge" doesn't mean "not only my opinion but that of many people".. Seriously.. Your escape from stupidity didn't work.

  • Serve-and-volley is a lottery. The outcome of this kind of game depends more on luck and psychological intimidation than on pure skills.

In today's tennis serve-and-volley players would have no chance. Passing shots like those of Fed, Djokovic, Nadal (and many others) would simply kill them.

Everybody with a brain knows that. Idiots don't.

  • @pep1815 tell that to samprass who has beat federer, agassi and many others, fish now plays serve and volley and hes one of the best, they dont play serve and volley bcs it is hard and full of risk...

  • @pep1815 tell that to samprass who has beat federer, agassi and many others, fish now plays serve and volley and hes one of the best, they dont play serve and volley bcs it is hard and full of risk...

  • @MegaPapuca "tell that to samprass who has beat federer"

    What? What?!!!

You have no clue about basic facts. Like the match scores. It was Federer who beat Sampras at Wimbledon and at exhibition matches (he let Sampras win one of them out of courtesy). That's the level of anti-Fed haters. Pure ignorance.

  • If Falla would've won this match Roger Federer's career had ended that day .

  • Expressing Reaction at 0:14 - 0:15

  • any1 else notice the lady in the yellow at @0:14 ? why is she doing that :O

  • look what happens when he's actually facing real competitions..getting owned!!! now by both Nadal and Djokovic.

  • @ken0746 Yeah.. He got 16 Grand Slams by facing Nadal and Djokovic, fool...

lol..Try not to be so obviously stupid.. It will be better for you...

Federer also faced Sampras and Agassi... and did the same thing to them as he did in this video.

  • @pep1815 yeah, when Nadal becomes the real competition, he's getting owned by Nadal ever since.. name other good players that he beat during those times then? and Novak only becomes good the last couple years, and guess what, Novak is starting to own him too...how does that sound??

  • @ken0746

Fed has 16 GS, Nadal has only 10. So Fed owns everybody.

So in your delusional world Nadal (or Djokovic) is a real competition only when he is winning with Fed, but he is not when he is losing? lol.. Aren't you a little childish in your stupidity? I told you, try not to be so obviously stupid.

When Nadal was winning all RG's and Fed was winning everything else, Nadal was not a real competition? lol Or when Djoko was winning AO. lol Why weren't they? How does you stupid mind work?

  • @pep1815 you're the one who's really stupid. How long have you been watching tennis anyway?? Learn how to read first. When Federer plays Nadal, Nadal just straight out owned him. The reason Fed has that many cuz he played watered down competitions, when the REAL competitions come from Nadal and Novak, he got owned. Stop being so retarded.

  • @ken0746 Hey, retard... If you are unable to think logically, don't try to write.

I just showed you how stupid you and your arguments are. You just need to read it slowly and take time to understand it.

  • @pep1815 lol, you're the retard that still hasn't come up with a legit argument about what I said. How old are you btw? did u start watching tennis in 01 or what? freaking kids these days. Now go back and learn how to read again.

  • @ken0746 You need to be able to read with comprehension first, moron. If you aren't, how can you understand the arguments?

You are an unbelievable retard who claims that when Nadal and Djokovic are winning with Fed, they a real competition, but when they are losing to him, they are not... The stupidity of this kind of thinking is so great that only a certified retard can come up with that. Your stupid arguments testify about you intellectual capabilities.

  • @pep1815 haha you're the one keep calling others names in other videos as well while not even understanding the simple points ppl are making. So blinded. Still haven't even had a single intelligent response to the fact i pointed out. I never said Nadal and Novak weren't real competitions before, only when they're starting to peak and that's when they start owning your beloved idol. Lucky for him during his 16 grandslam, Nadal was raw and look at him now, getting ass kicked by Nadal..

  • @ken0746 "I never said Nadal and Novak weren't real competitions before"

You are a lying retard... lol.. Do you want me to put your nose in your own crap?

That's what you wrote: "when Nadal becomes the real competition, he's getting owned by Nadal"

So you de facto said that before that, Nadal wasn't a real competition. If you don't know you said it, you are a retard or a liar. You are just so stupid that you don't even understand what logic is.

  • @ken0746

You have a lot of insolence to claim that I don't respond to the point, when it's you who does it. I do respond directly by parsing your lame sentences. You deny saying what you said just a couple posts before. You are a vile lying retard.

  • @pep1815 So what competition before Nadal really coming of age then?? Exactly my point. The only real rivalry he actually has, and being dominated by it. Who else beside Nadal that Fed beat that's worth mentioning? Is that clear enough for you? Still havent had a legit claim but pointing out the number of GS that he won when there's no worthy competitions from Nadal and Noval as of now. Names calling much, what are you? 16??

  • @ken0746 "Nadal really coming of age"

What does it even mean, moron? You don't know wack about tennis. Tennis players are best at young age. Grand Slams are won usually by very young players. You know nothing about tennis, fool.

And when in your stupid mind Nadal came of age? When was it, moron? When he starterd winning RG in 2005 he still wasn't a worthy opponent?

You know nothing of tennis, fool. Seriously. Why do you even try to talk about it?

  • "worth mentioning?" Nadal and Djokovic, the very toughest competition any candidate for a GOAT has ever had. Sampras had only Agassi. You need other names? You wouldn't even know, you know nothing. Andy Roddick Lleyton Hewitt Andre Agassi Sampras David Nalbandian del Potro Marat Safin Andy Murray
  • @pep1815 really? What happened when Nadal and Novak starting to get better? Fed only beat them during their early career, now they're just owning him. Thats my point. And please, really, Roddick the "i can only serve and quit?", one shot wonder Hewitt and end of their career Agassi and Sampras? Even at the end of their career, they almost owned him. How many other names would even make it to the top 20? Murray and del Potro, plz stop embarrassing yourself. Tennis didnt start only in 01 u know

  • @ken0746 I asked you a question, retard.

When Nadal starterd winning RG in 2005 he still wasn't a worthy opponent?

When Djokovic was in the US Open finals and won AO, he still wasn't a worthy opponent?

You know nothing of tennis. You don't know that the GS champions are usually very young. Tennis players are in their prime at the young age. That shows how stupid, ignorant and retarded you are.

You are a waste of time, retard. You are a typical troll. I have enough of you.

  • @pep1815 sampras had only agassi? in terms of grand slam competition, he had (throughout hit career) agassi, courier, becker, edberg, rafter, kuerten, hewitt, and safin. he also had many other tough opponents who either got to finals or could take him down, such as phillippoussis, korda, chang, krajicek, kafelnikov, and others.

  • @cain2335 I meant, in terms of real tough competitors. That guy claimed Federer had none.

Nadal is still the toughest competitor. Djokovic this year is tough as hell too.

"other tough opponents who could take him down"

There are always tough opponents who can take you down (like Nalbandian). Federer simply doesn't let most of them to do that. Players you mentioned are no tougher than today's. Sampras simply wasn't good enough to dominate them. Federer is simply the best. Agassi admitted that.

  • @pep1815 that's nice that agassi said that, but other pros from that era have said differently. i'm not saying that federer had, and has, no competition. he surely did (like nalbandian for a year or two). and the players i mentioned are indeed as tough as today's competition, with one crucial fact: MANY OF THEM WERE CONSISTANT. excluding nalbandian, nadal, djokovic, and murray, who is really a consistant threat to the top seeds? roddick? no. soderling? no. ferrer? no. del potro? only once.

  • @pep1815 that's nice that agassi said that, but other pros from that era have said differently. i'm not saying that federer had, and has, no competition. he surely did (like nalbandian for a year or two). and the players i mentioned are indeed as tough as today's competition, with one crucial fact: MANY OF THEM WERE CONSISTANT. excluding nalbandian, nadal, djokovic, and murray, who is really a consistant threat to the top seeds? roddick? no. soderling? no. ferrer? no. del potro? only once.

  • @cain2335

If it looks like Federer has no competition, it's because he is so much better than the rest. And he has the toughest drugged-up opponent in Nadal, btw.

How would you tell that those players of yore were 'better' than today's? Because there was no dominator then and they were able to win some GS? That's laughable. Now many players are very good, but they can't win because they face Federer (or Nadal).

  • @cain23

Even McEnroe admitted that today's tennis is much tougher and the players of previous era wouldn't have a chance.

You can tell that Federer is the best by watching how he plays. The skills he shows. Not just because he has the records. You know tennis, you see it right away. Artistry.

He plays a natural classical, one-handed backhand against tough two-handed lumberjacks. And he still wins.

BTW. Who claims otherwise? That lumberjack Wilander? lol. Envious woodies like him don't matter.

  • @pep1815 lol what? yea of course johnny mac says that shit. he always says stupid stuff to hike up ratings. and why are tennis players today tougher than before? RACKET TECH, STRINGS AND SLOW COURTS/BALLS. take luxilon rough out of federer's racket and he can't get the spin potential he gets now. take rpm blast out of rafa's racket and that spin is completely gone, not to mention the large power that goes with it. and what you're saying is all opinion

  • @cain2335 "You can tell that Federer is the best by watching how he plays. The skills he shows. Not just because he has the records. You know tennis, you see it right away. Artistry." You're opinion is yours, ill give you that. but when i watch federer, i don't see the best lol. and many world number ones have said that he's not the best of all time, like Laver, Sampras, Muster, and others. I'll take their view on it over yours any day.

  • @cain2335 Wow.. Sampras said that? Or Laver? hahaha.. That's surprising... lol

Actually you don't know what you are talking about. Sampras has admitted that Federer is better. And it's harder for him than for McEnroe to admit that.

McEnroe has more brain than clowns like Wilander or Laver. But he also shows his jealousy. He now roots always against Federer.

  • @pep1815 lol Laver is a clown? you're calling a legend (perhaps the greatest) a clown? hmm now whose the one who doesn't have the right to argue about tennis. And you don't understand what I was talking about when I said about Sampras. He called Federer ONE of the greatest, not THE greatest. And serve-and-volley is somehow bad? it's WAY more tough than a regular baseline game. and yet again, if i dont see the "superior" skills of federer, then i still certainly have the right to argue

  • @cain2335 like I was saying before, it's all YOUR opinion. and no im not jealous of federer. why would I be jealous of an arrogant prick like him? try getting off of his nuts and realize that without slow courts/balls, great rackets and strings, and no competition, he wouldn't do nearly as well against the players of past eras.. and mcenroe always roots for the underdog in every match. like in the 2008 wimbledon final, he was rooting for nadal.

  • @cain2335 You see, sucker.. You are just babbling like a troll. You have no rational arguments, so that's what you have left.

You claim now that there is no competition for Federer. lol

Now you just revealed yourself as a hater and a sheer troll with no knowledge of tennis.

The faster court, the better for Federer. Do you claim otherwise? Nadal is fond of slow courts.

  • @pep1815 im talking about actual FAST courts, like wimbledon was in the 90's and back. and when the us open was fast, not like now. and no, your opinions are not at all factual. im done with you. its absolutly hilarious to hear a federer fan claim that he's the best and this era is the best. when you count actual NUMBERS AND STATS, this era is very weak. and somehow federer is this incredible master player? he's the best of the 2000, but thats it kid. and seriously tech has done a lot

  • @cain2335 What? So you are claiming that faster courts don't benefit Federer against his opponents, especially Nadal? Seriously.. do you have ANY clue about tennis?

How "NUMBERS AND STATS" show that "this era is very weak"? That's not a rhetorical question. Answer me that and I will show you how stupid and ignorant you are. Actually, even if you refuse to answer this, you will show that.

  • @cain2335 So you are sending me a private message? That's how you are afraid of answering this question. lol

Your answer is simply a circular logic nonsense. You claim that Federer is not the best, even though stats show that - he won 16 GS, more than anyone. Then you claim that the stats show it was a weak era, because.... Federer won 16 GS (i.e. he was so dominating that others were unable to win). lol.. That's how stupid anti-fed haters are.

  • @cain23

And again. You claim that the fact that Sampras won his 14 GS in a longer period of time shows that the era was better (lol), even though it simply shows that Sampras wasn't as dominating as Federer (and this explains why other players won more GS then). It actually shows that Sampras was weaker.

How delusional you have to be to turn the reality upside down, just because you are a hater of the best player in history?

Funny thing is that Maradona and Jordan also have their haters...

  • @pep1815 hummmm maradonna is int the worlds best football player its pele

  • @confusedapache Yeah.. lol..

Pele didn't have even half the skills Maradona had. Only total ignorants and haters can claim that Maradona wasn't the best football player ever. You just have to watch him play and know stuff about football on above-woody-level to clearly see that.

As I said... it's the same case as with Federer's haters.

  • @pep1815 i dont get it your calling me stupid by saying maradona is better that pele

so lets compare pele 77 goals in 92 caps

maradona 34 goals in 91 caps

maradon took Ephedrine which is a stimulate used to enhance a players ability

pele dint and still managed to score more goals

maradon was a cheater but after pele scored his 1000th goal he dedicated it to the children living in the slums of brazil

pele is know as a humble player but maradona is footballs biggest dickhead

  • @pep1815 all so federer is the worlds best player at this time their have been loads of players better than him in the past so

stop being a fucking fan boy and do some research before you post a load of fucking rubbish

  • @confusedapache So you are a moron and a Brit hater (not surprising lol). Only a moron can compare number of goals scored while talking about the best player ever. The best player is the one with the unparalleled skill and the greatest influence on his team's performance. Pele had no skills compared to Maradona. You don't see that, you are a moron. And he was just one of many good players of the Brazilian team. Maradona was unique and made an average club in Italy win championships.

  • @pep1815 Why? Why? Why are you arguing about football on a video of the GOAT tennis player? P.S. Both Pele and Cruyff were much better players than Maradona. Fact.

  • @vuk911 Read, so you can understand why.

Only a total ignorant thinks that some guy is better than Maradona, just because he said so ("fact" - lol). You have no clue about what the criteria of establishing the best player are.

  • @pep1815 maradona was great footballer but its general knowledge messi is the best of all-time. despite his young age his skill and footballing ability are unrivaled by any footballer of any football era. once his career is over his accomplishments will outshadow maradonas.

  • @iMrRussell

What? "general knowledge"? lol... That's what ignorants say. According to this "general knowledge" Iraq had "noocular bombs".. Facts proved otherwise. When someone uses terms like "general knowledge", he doesn't have a clue.

Messi is not even close to Maradona, even though he has a chance to become the second greatest football player in history. As for now he didn't even show a fraction of the skills Maradona used to show regularly. Ball control is not even comparable.

  • @pep1815

back to our debate on FOOTBALL. messi not even close to maradona?? now that is "ignorant". at the age of only 24 messi has helped barcelona to win 5 league titles, 3 champions league titles, 2 UEFA supercups and a FIFA world club championship. that is incredible without mentioning that he has also won a U-20 world cup and a olympic gold medal playing for argentina. plus numerous individual awards and honours.

  • @iMrRussell

Messi just merely helped the best team in the world (next to Real) to win championship. Just like Pele only helped the great Brazilian team win. Maradona made champions out of mediocre teams (Napoli).

So that's the difference between Messi and Maradona in terms of team achievements.

If you compare the skills and ball control... man.. you have no clue... I can show you the videos of Maradona.. You can't show me those of Messi apart from a few good plays he made. That's it.

  • @pep1815

Barcelona may be a top team bad that is no reason to discredit Messi's performance on the pitch. He alone has been crucial to them winning most of the trophies they have won in the last 5+ years. "a few good plays" WTF??? If you truly believe that then I don't know what to say except you must be in denial. Saying Messi has only made a few good plays is beyond ridiculous, thats is like saying Marco Pierre White is an average cook or Mohammed Ali's footwork was sloppy. Totally ludicrous!

  • @iMrRussell I said that that Messi had only a few good plays that could be considered approaching Maradona's level. You can hardly make a compilation of his plays that are good. During the World Cup you could barely see Messi play. He was so bad. Below average.

Maradona was never unnoticeable on the field. He had the ball control, he never run from the ball like a chicken.

  • @iMrRussell I don't discredit Messi's play, I said he was maybe the second best after Maradona.

I discredit your claim that Barcelona's performance is a proof of Messi being the GOAT. You see how simple logic is if you know how to use it?

Messi simply made a great team a little stronger. Maradona MADE the average teams strong.

  • @pep1815

My point is that surely if Maradona was as good as you say he would not be playing for "average teams".

And Messi's last world cup wasdefinately not up to his normal high standards, but if I remember correctly a lot of main focus players were below par (Rooney,Kaka,Ronaldo,Xavi etc.) It has to be said that surely the condition were not up to scratch in South Africa if this many high profile players did not perform, plus the introduction of the Jabulani, which I can say is a awful ball

  • @iMrRussell 'would not be playing for "average teams".'

Nope. He would. He did play for Barcelona, but he wasn't a docile boy like Messi is. So he preferred to change a club.

Kaka,Ronaldo,Xavi are not candidates for GOATS. Maradona wasn't never unnoticable. Messi rarely is noticeable.

"Rooney?.. And that says it all. If you mention that woody Brit, Rooney while talking about Maradona and Messi, that says it all.. Maybe you will brag about your Eddie Edwards, too?

  • @iMrRussell 'would not be playing for "average teams".'

Nope. He would. He did play for Barcelona, but he wasn't a docile boy like Messi is. So he preferred to change a club.

Kaka,Ronaldo,Xavi are not candidates for GOATS. Maradona wasn't never unnoticable. Messi rarely is noticeable.

"Rooney?.. And that says it all. If you mention that woody Brit, Rooney while talking about Maradona and Messi, that says it all.. Maybe you will brag about your Eddie Edwards, too?

  • @pep1815

from playing with it myself, it should never have been allowed into what was overall a pretty awful world cup competition. .

You discredit my claim that Messi playing for Barcelona benefits his claim for GOAT, however Maradona himself played for them. Surely there is no sensible logic in that at all. Barcelona are a much better team now than they were then. But, if Maradona is the GOAT surely he would have been playing for a better 70s/80s era team like say Munich or Liverpool? No?

  • @iMrRussell "no sensible logic in that"

You have to be able to understand logic first. I just explained to you how obvious it is. A great team wins without a need for a GOAT playing for it. They would be winning with or without Messi. So the achievements of the best team in the world don't make their best player a GOAT. Adding Messi to Barcelona or Pele to Brazilian team doesn't change much. That didn't make them the winning team. Maradona made the change.

Is it too difficult for your brain?

  • @iMrRussell

Football is a team sport. The wins of the team are no basis for the GOAT claims for one of its players. Actually the better team, the easier for its best player to shine.

So wins of Barcelona or the Brazillian team (or Boston Celtics) don't make Messi nor Pele a GOAT. Only skills and the influence on his team make criteria for a greatest player of all time

Maradona and Jordan do have it.

  • @pep1815

as for skills messi has that in abundance he can fly past players with ease. his ball control is second to NONE and his finishing is spectacular to say the least, nevermind his phenominal goalscoring rate and amazing ability to interpret where the ball will go.

like i said, maradona was a great footballer. but messi is 1 of a kind, nobody past or present compares to him. even maradona himself said that he has never seen a player as extraordinarily good as messi.

    messi = greatest ever

  • @iMrRussell I remember like some "experts" claimed that Bryant (or even O'Neal) was gonna be better than Jordan.. lol.. And now you see it's not possible. I knew that all along.

Messi is like Bryant. He plays for the second place.

  • @confusedapache "he dedicated it to the children living in the slums"

ha ha ha... That makes this hypocrite the best player? ha ha ha

You are Pele's fan boy. And you have no clue about sports, fool. You just showed that.

The funny thing is that an idiot tries to tell me to "do research" while he shows himself be an unbelievable idiot.

  • @cain2335

I wouldn't care even if Fed was arrogant (I didn't notice that). If you are the best, you don't have to pretend others are on your level. Only the weak ones have to. Maradona, Jordan don't pretend like they are not the best. That's what the best do.

Opinion? Yes. But my opinion counts, because it's based on reality and rational argumentation. The opinion of trolls, haters and jealous competitors doesn't.

  • @cain2335

Seriously, you don't know what you are talking about. Sampras admitted that Federer was better than him, after Fed won more GS. And Sampras was considered the best till then. If you don't understand simple sentences in English, how come you talk about tennis?

Laver is a clown and he doesn't matter as a candidate for a GOAT. Just like all those players before the open era. Then there was no competition. Now the competition is the toughest.

  • @cain2335

If you don't see the artistry and skills of Federer play, you are just one of those woodies who play only lumberjack tennis or the serve-and-volley lottery.. Seriously... If you don't see the superior skills of Federer...you don't even have any right to argue about tennis. You must be just a jealous tennis player, hater or a dilettante.

  • @cain2335

So what are you disputing here? You just confirm this without even knowing that...lol..

The most important thing McEnroe was talking about was fitness. All those things would make today's tennis more difficult for the old guys.

Federer doesn't need anything new. He would beat everybody in those they with ease. Nadal, Djokovic are one of those tough new players Federer has face.

  • @pep1815 btw, my intellectual capabilities are just fine since Im a surgical resident practicing medicine while you're a tough internet guy being blindly obsessed with another man. I'm no genius but calling me a retard makes you look stupid...try to have an real argument first before call names. You have no legit point whatsoever

  • @ken0746

    "surgical resident practicing medicine"

ha ha ha.. Don't tell me who you claim to be, quack. You just show with your statements how stupid and retarded you are. That's the real proof of who you are.

  • @pep1815 Nadal leads their overall head-to-head series 17–8 vs. Federer. Talking about major ass whooping!!

  • @pep1815 yeah, and he barely beat a 35 yo Agassi that was way pass his prime.

  • @ken0746 Even if he was young, he wouldn't get to this drop shot. Seriously.. Do you know anything about the issue?

  • @pep1815 and oh yeah, Agassis did pull the same drop shot on Fed's ass as well..good luck getting owned by both Nadal and Novak from now on!!
