..I only just noticed how the Bad Girl has 'conveniently' ended up in trousers, while the Good Girl is wearing a skirt that looks like an apron from the front.
Not to mention the difference in hair length... ¬_¬ Subtle.
Too true. You have to remember this is the 50s. I just wonder if the movie was made before or after Charles Starkweather had his killing spree. If it was after, then the preachiness of the movie makes a whole helluva lot more sense. Think about all the teenagers as gangsters movies back then. They were probably all made as a kneejerk response by the moral majority.
But I think it would have made a better TV movie than a real movie or like an old "Playhouse 90" episode or something, what with them basically only using one set for most of the film. They don't exactly exploit the cinamatic possibilities the big screen provides here, lol.
Rockford Files (this was answered elsewhere I know) is Servo's song. One of relatively few shows from the 70s that actually is still pretty good to watch. Kinda like an "everyday guy"/"meat and potatoes" version of Magnum PI. That stupid phone thing and the commentary cracks me up every time.

I respectfully disagree. This movie is nothing but a scene-chewing femme menacing some old people on a single set for two hours.
swgmigraines 3 years ago 4
But still better than anything than anything out there today.
vlcupper 3 years ago
definitely. here's a basic scene.
old people: "Why don't you do something with yourself?"
femme: "I HAZ A GUN LOL"
REPEAT.

Servo's singing the theme from
TV's "The Rockford Files."
(1970s/starred James Garner)
