And what advice have you got for teenagers planning to begin learning more about the keyboard?

I'm 23 .. and my advice would be to keep practicing! Make sure you have a keyboard @ home you can practice on .. and make sure you're actually into it and enjoy it .. and it's not torture :) ... and you'll do fine!
