As such, because we are based and limited in this third dimension of space time, so is our senses--everything we see, hear, smell, taste, and touch are just electrical signals interpreted by our brain (which is just matter). Anyway, feel free to dismiss this, as I know you will. This reality is an illusion.

Its funny, most of these scientists lived in the 17th and 18th century. Newton believed in alchemy, does that mean alchemy must be true? The truth is that one can be a scientist and still believe all sorts of things. The two are independent. The best you can do is to select scientists who share your opinions and hold that up as some sort of evidence in and of itself.
