  • that is it! i'm never touching a pencil again...

  • amazing TT__TT

  • Do you remember where you got this type of paper?

  • @artawesome30 i got this at my school ! when i tried to buy it after i couldn't find it, so it took me a while to find another great paper and now i have it, i'm using gina k pure luxury cardstock and it's working even better that the paper i use in this video :)

  • This picture is amazing, do you use a blender marker? :p

  • @HoneyCherryball nope i don't use it ! :)

  • @Sakuems it's amazing tho! Go on, lil gurl! ♥

  • @HoneyCherryball Ugh! How DO you make the heart???

  • @artawesome30 alt + 3 gives ♥ :p

  • @Sakuems Yay! Thank You! ♥

  • @artawesome30 Sakuems was first n__n;

press alt hold it and then press the 3 on the numberblock on the rightsight of your keyboard; ♥

  • @HoneyCherryball yeaaah ! ♥♥♥♥♥ ^o^

  • @HoneyCherryball Yay! Thank you! ♥

  • @artawesome30 <3 deuces

  • @Sakuems You really manipulate your colours, but may I ask a question? How do you figure out your colors, like you know how you did the purple over her blond hair? how did you come up with that?

  • @hlwtsb Purple and yellow are complementary colors :) copic ink is translucent so if i lay purple over yellow, it's will add a nice undertone not too strong like if u use orange, but lightly cold but still in the same "family" since it will became kinda pink. but, surprisingly it's not working with red/green or orange/blue. BUT purple can work with orange and blue. purple is the most incredible color. can be cool or warm tone. that's why :)

  • @Sakuems i'm not sure if i was clear LOL ! when i told about red/green and blue/orange it means that if i lay red over a green, it will work very weird, still be vibrant because they are complementary colors, but the real key here is the purple or violet colors, these tones can be cool or warm depending on what color is aside them. i learn that in art class a few years ago :)

  • Fantastic!!!

  • everything EXCEPT the face colouring was awesome, that orange skintone though... not my cup of tea :) but it's a very beautiful picture ^^

  • @SelainAiren the video is not deserving the color lol ! it's actually WAY much lighter than this orange skin :p

  • I love the way you color your pictures *-*

By the way ... What are the numbers of the copics you used? I really would like to know :3

  • only amaizing ! Can you make a viedeo, how youdraw this eyes ? :D

  • what do you do if you make a mistake? D8

  • @Tygerlily179 feel like a crap and try to fix it when i know it's almost impossible with copics markers haha !! :p that's why this technique is so nice, you have to believe there's no "mistakes" lol

  • @Sakuems oh XD

  • You ARE AMAZING!!!

  • I'm a big fan and I love your videos. You are so talented! But you already knew that.

I was wondering if you have been through art school, and if art is your career.

  • I love Drawings done in copic but i never do them 1st because they are expensive and 2nd i have problems with markers

  • @BlkScreamProductions ' you have problems with markers' LOL thats funny

  • i love kalafina. and i love this video!

  • i wonder if i looked weird with my head turned sideways....

  • I really like the way you color with copics *-*

I think it's really fascinating to watch you while you're drawing and it would be nice to know which colors you used ... i tried to see the name or the numbers on the copics but i failed xD

    However~ great pic !! :3

  • i love the song :) soooo sooottthhhhiiiinnnnngggg

  • Wow your amazing i'm still sort of new to using Copics :3 i hope i will be able to be like you someday :)

I tryed to color the same... but i dont get it O.O

and the music´s also beautyful ♥

  • C'est MAGNIFIQUE

  • what kind of pen did you use to highlight the eyes? .. oh, and i love this pic, its amazing! :D

  • wow that was soo pretty im jealous really its awesome x3

  • omg it's kalafina :D i really love your drawing too. it's so colorful :D

  • @gmeagher12 thanks !! i love Kalafina ^^

  • other than that, i liked the bg you used, it was simple, colorful, but simple.

all in a few words, learn to limit yourself, you'll be astounded at how good simple can be.

keep it up, i know this video is kinda old, and i'm not sure how you draw now, but i hope you take it the right way, this is all just constructive criticism.

  • @CarlosADLM no problem :) you're totally right, sometimes it's hard to pick the right colors when you have a lot of them, i made this drawing 2 years ago and i still have hard times to chose the colors, but that's also a part of my work to have colorful drawings (done with copics or other art tools) so i can't really change this, i really love when there is a lot of colors ^^;

  • @Sakuems Where can i get the pens you are using??? I MUST KNOW!!!!!!!

  • i havent seen any critics on this video so please let me be the one t break it for you, your drawing is awesome, your skills are good, but just 1 thing, having 50 colors doesn't mean that you have to use them all in 1 drawing, i'm not kidding this thing looked like a rainbow, hell like a candy.... don't get me wrong, it was good, but if you'd lay a little lower on so many colors, and decided on the few that truly mattered, the drawing would be better, sometimes less is better. to be continued.

  • Its amazing what copics can do. But they are E-EXPENSIVEEE!

  • May I ask what you are using to color?

  • @RenjiHotCute yes you can, but i answer to this questions hundreds of times and it's actually in THE TITLE of the video ! -_-" i color with COPIC MARKERS

  • @Sakuems I feel so bad that I have missed that;;;;

    I very sorry about that...

  • @RenjiHotCute it's ok ... i'm sorry too, i have been rude to you but it's really annoying to answer constantly to the same question ^^;;

  • @Sakuems Oh no Im sure, but I really should have read the name ; _; Well thank you for telling me hun!

  • how many copic markers do you have?

  • @ApertureScience21 144 ciaos + doubles (ciaos that i bought before) + neopikos, some trias.. i think i got around 175 markers :)

  • @Sakuems cool... i havent got any one :D

  • i love the coloring!!! and i have the same white gelpen o3o

  • you are very talented ...Amazing...:)

  • @garotadobr thanks :)

  • i love the colors you chose!

  • ... ive never try that..... with my copic markers...

  • This is so beautiful ;A;

  • Woow ur amazing :0

  • OH my GOODNESS!!!

This is friggin AWESOME! i'm totally new to copics, and I soooo want to start doing that now! :O

    This is amazing!

..can I borrow your talent for a bit? I promise you'll get it back (A)

  • @Mehenee haaaha you can have some *sending talent* u got it ? i leave it to u for the week :p

  • Wow this is amazing o: how long did it take for you to draw this?

  • @lolliberry1 it's the first thing i tell in the video ... what's the point of writing infos in the video if u don't pay attention to it ? :p it took me 2 hours ^^

  • Do you remember how many colors did u use total...?

  • @angelhuong1234 mmmh u can count on the video haha ! i think it's around 25 i think :)

  • The hair came and face came out so wonderful!

  • what is the song?

  • <3:O

  • how do u know where to put the shades in i wish i was as good as you X(

  • can you find that paper anywhere? or do you have a certain place you have to go?

  • @PrincessZelda567 unfornutalely i can't anymore, i just pick some sheet in my art school and when i wanted to buy a pack of the same paper, the only way is to buy by 2500 sheets which is HUGE (since it's for laser printer) but i found a paper very close to it, it's the Gina K pure luxury paper. i will make a review soon ^^

  • Your really great on this... Love it

  • @Sakuems Yea :) Idk how long ago they started making them, I shop at a little store in my town called Drawingboard Plus and they sell Prismas and Copics individually and they replaced all their old stock with large and small brush tips only. I like them both, but I just like the darkened colors of Prismas, but Copics are better for skin and hair :)

  • very beautiful O_O

  • This is really pretty! I'm not sure I get the background but oh well, I like it anyways :)

  • you are amazing just saying :) i love your work!!!

  • Why're copic markers such a big deal? I only heard about them a few days ago and I don't quite get it. What makes them so special?

  • @iammarked mmh specials because the ink is alcohol based and not water base like normal markers. it's like coloring with ink/watercolor/markers in the same time. it's just so versatile, the color is smooth, you don't have to worry about the trace of the tip, the ink is translucide and you can layer colors instead of one big color you have with normal markers. i can't explain it all in english, i think i'm gonna make another video to compare :) !

  • Yeah, and the quality is fantastic. My friend uses Copics and I use Prisma markers and we started buying them at 15, we're both nearing 22 now and the markers still work as though they were new. :) Also the colors don't blend harshly and if you know what you're doing you can get a really nice painterly effect like in this video. They are really kind of expensive tho, Copics are like 7.00 each and Prismas are like 5.00, so unless you're serious about art, think wisely before investing in them.

  • @Sakuems Thank you for answering my question. I had no idea they were alcohol based. I'm subscribing so I can see that video :)

  • wow the giel is so butiful

  • do you have a deviantart account?

I would love to see all the finished work posted :)

  • This is beautiful, what colours did u use 4 the skin btw??

  • @Sakhiraa thanks !! ^^ The base color is Baby Skin Pink and to shade i used Sand. But i don't use only 2 colors, it more like 5 or 6 but i don't remember them, this drawing was made 2 years ago so...

  • how can you dislike this!!! its so amazing. i love your art and the eyes are so beautiful. looking at this maes my drawing look like squiggles.

  • @waterheart12 ikr! plus I think people just dislike things cause theyre jealous ;]

  • @ILuvPie243 probably!!! jealous little piggies. :P

  • wow... your so COOL!!!! O_o

  • I'm really amazed on how you blended the colors.... I draw a lot of stuff too but I find it hard to put colors in it............... sometimes I had a a nice sketch but It becomes horable once I applied the color....

  • @ranjiccu1 u klnow what, if i show you the first drawing i colored with copic markers, you will laugh !!! this is a very difficult technique, i spend a lot of time trying to know how they work and i keep trying to tame the colors lol ! it's like watercolor when u need to tame the water ! this is normal if it look horrible, u just need to pratice ^^ if u want some tips just look for my video "copic tips" :)

  • @ranjiccu1 hi try to use color penns who cald promarkers it is the penn she usese :) then you can blend the colors without being horabule :) you can by it at eny hoby store ..good luck :)

  • @78Musi omg learn english ..... i can't understand anything. anyways, i don't use promarkers, i can't work with the normal nib or big nib, i use only the brush nib. that's why i got copics :)

If you're having troubles for blending color, the worse thing to do is work with promarkers because these are very hard to blend with. Anyways, Ranjiccu i recommend you my Copic tips video, you will see how i blend the colors :)

  • @Sakuems wow i love your work but that was before you were so rude to someone.... so sad isn't it? how someones opinion can change just cuz of your personality. well good luck.

  • @lovefireheart you don't know me trough one comment ^^ i didn't want to be rude. and you can like my work without liking me, it's ok, i'm not perfect and i'm not trying to be. i'm the way i am, i'm not a bad person either. i was rude really , just because i said to you that you could try to speak a better english because i wasn't understanding anything ? i'm sorry that's true, i didn't understand what u said before. if you change your opinion on me, it's ok, i'm not here to be loved

  • @Sakuems lol nah im not the person u were rude to it was someone else. you see my sister was admiring your work. and i think rightfully so. u have amazing talent however in her words my sister told me " i really like this artist work but this one comment has been bugging me" so i came to check it out. i guess there are many ways you can tell someone to speak English properly however your way was a tiny bit rude. but like you said nobody is perfect, you still have amazing talent. :3

  • @lovefireheart geez i'm sorry for your sis', i did not want to be rude on her, it's hard online to speak to people, i don't know if they are older or younger than me. my sincere apologies to your sister, i'm glad she likes my art :)

  • @78Musi thanks.....

  • How can u afford these!!!?!??

  • @UphieeKa I spare money for 2 years !

  • @UphieeKa They are pretty expensive, so unless a person is serious about art it's probably not a wise investment. I'm a graphic designer and I use Prismacolor markers, which are a lot alike Copics but the colors are very saturated and intense. Both are very high quality, Copics are around 7.00 apiece and Prismas are around 5.00 or 6.00. If you buy the whole set of Copics it would probably be around 650.00 and Prismas around 400.00, so I buy them one at a time as they're needed :)

  • @PahoranGirl516 that's true, they are expensive. but prismacolor markers don't have the brush nib, it makes a BIG difference so don't forget that. if you're beginning with alcohol markers, they are a great product. i started myself with the old tria (with fine nib, extra fine nib and big nib) but there's nothing close to the brush nib, it's so precise, versatile and easier to work with. if you need to chose a brand which is less expensive but has the brush nib, i recommend Neo Piko 2 by Deleter.

  • Actually they don't make prisma markers with the regular fine point nib anymore (that I know of) now they have them with the large brush nib and the fine brush nib, and then the "old school" ones with the angular square nib and the regular fine point nib. The only ones I have with the fine point are my really old ones, all my new ones are brush tipped only. But yeah, I've been working with them for about 8 years now, I'm in graphic design so they do come in handy and are worth the price :)

  • @PahoranGirl516 i can't find any website with prisma marker with the brush nib. it only has the illustration marker but there's less than 10 colors ...

  • awesome job (*o*)

  • I found your video while googling copic markers, so maybe others have found it the same way. That could be the reason this video has more views than your other ones.

  • Her face and hair are AMAZING!!!!

  • This is glorious. I love how bold you are with color. Very nice. :)

  • Hello everyone :)

i was wondering why this video has so many views compared to my other videos .... and it's the same for the comments, this is my number one video even if the drawing is really bad compared to my new artworks (well in my opinion) ... can you tell me in what conditions you saw this video ? did u search for it ? did you see a link to it ? thanks for answering :)

  • @Sakuems even if its not your best at the end your colouring looks very proffesional and clean compared to what some people (me) can do i think thats why its got more views. this is amazing btw.

  • @Sakuems I think I searched for "drawing with copic markers" or something like that and found it :)

  • @Sakuems Well, i watch all of your vids, yet this one is just.. SO ADORABLE.

And a good way to learn more about drawing with copics o.o

  • @Sakuems For me, it was coming up under recommended videos since I had looked at some other videos about Copic markers. That might be why it's getting attention?

  • @Sakuems it's really nice to see how you use copics. I mainly use them and this is really helpful (though I don't know what colors you used).

  • @Sakuems I saw it as a link while watching another video about copics : )

  • Where did you get that paper? I have yet to find paper that i like while using Copic markers. If you remembered what its called, that would be awesome! :)

  • @Sassyfragrance do you EVER read the description box ? T_T ... i'm sorry to be rude, but it's like the 100 time that someone ask me this ... this paper is Canon HighGrade laser paper in 200 g/m²

  • That is so hard core coloring lol

  • Oh my! Would you draw me a picture like this one? I just absolutely adore it!! Its lovely! <3

  • Was the fine-tipped pen you used a colourless blender or white out (or something similar)? ... I've always wondered when people use those, but never really took the time to ask... Lol.

    ~Kitsune Kage

  • Wow - that is so good!!! How many colours did you use???? I wouldn't have even thought to use that many...I keep using mine like normal inkpens so I gotta learn more about these...Thanks was a beautiful finished product!

  • beautiful colors and amazing shading! =D

  • the coloring is madd awesomme

  • woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow

    really cool

  • what are the names of these pens? :o

i have always wanted to learn to color, i can draw fine, but coloring ive never been good out, i always hate how markers just let out 100% color on the paper, these seem to have an airbrush look to them :x

  • @lunarknightlucian i answered hundred times : these are COPIC MARKERS ! it's in the video title geez !

  • @Sakuems I didnt know copic was the brand, And i guess i didnt really look at the title since i was shown this through a link.

Sorry i know how it feels to have to answer the same question over and over again. I gatta do the same thing with one of my videos.

  • @Sakuems i got some copic markers how long do they last beore they need a refil?

  • @violet1197 Depends on how much you used them ^^ i remembered using one for around 10 drawings before it was empty

  • this is so amazing!!! your so good at drawing

  • I would honestly pay hundreds of dollars for this!!! It's absolutley amazing! Im blown away!!! Im just starting copic coloring. If you wouldent mind can you msg me some tips on where to purchase markers and colours I should purchase?

    best wishes a

    Thanks

    Emily =)

  • @cowgurl9812 thx !!!!! i need money so send it whenever u want LOL :p

u know what, my real name is also Emilie :)

for the copics tips, check my other videos ^^ and to purchase markers it depends on the country where u live, in france i buy them on gerstaecker, maybe they ship overseas i dont know

  • omg~~~ ur amazing!!! :D

  • Hey, do you use a copic blending marker? Very good drawing! :D

  • Hi, first of all, this is absolutely beautiful - you have a lot of talent! Second thing, I'm sorry if you've been asked this before, but do you have DeviantART? 'Cause if you do, I'd definitely watch you! :)

Keep up all the fantastic work!

  • @HollyRaven12 thx ^^ !!! my Da is sakuems. deviantart. com

  • I watch you create this beautiful picture several times daily. I've decided that I would love to own this drawing. Any chance you would be willing to sell this picture?\ That is if it is not against YOUTUBE rules!

    Thanx!!

  • Thanks heaps!! ^_^

  • Wow.. <3

  • Lovely work. Just curious . . . do you have a deviantART?

  • Hi. First off, you're amazing!! Second, would you be able to tell me what colour copics you used? Especially the skin colours... I apologies if you have already answered this question. I did look through the comments but didn't see an answer. It would be such a help if you would tell me. I'm a beginner with copics, but I hope to be able to accomplish something as awesome as this one day...

    Thanks. ^_^

  • @hikari59914051 thanks !!! ^^. you don't bother me at all. i used these copics : E51, E11, E02, E33, E35, E57

  • U are a genious, its like watching magic unfold... GOD BLESS...

  • OMGGGGGGG!

    YOU'RE amazing!

  • so preeety :)

  • god... i still cant belive that u can get a spectacular, amazing pic with COPIC MARKERS! 0.0 and i rlly like your drawing its soooo WOW keep up the good work ^^

  • Comment removed

  • I love the colors! Very exotic.

  • what was the white pen that you use to add the glimmer in the eyes and the shine on the cheeks?

  • @Eva86ae i answered to this question 10 times .... this is a gel pen in white, by pentel. and i also used white acrylic paint

  • @Eva86ae its called colorless blend marker.

  • @Eva86ae You can either use a white paint-pen which has very thick white ink in it, but be careful of the ink flow being too heavy/running on the paper. Or sometimes what I do is after the picture is done I go back in with a very fine-tipped paint brush and add my whites in subtly with white acrylic paint, hope this helps :)

  • Woow this is amazing u know at first I thought I was going to come out weird from the color of the skin but the colors surrounding it really completed it... I'm going to get copics soon so I've been looking at videos and this really helped

  • it looks really good but in some way it looks weird

  • Please tell me you work for some animator company? if not, you should, send in a portfollio, start bugging them, enter their contests, your to good to pass that up! I cant wait to get back to how i used to be before i quite drawing for several years.. >.<" worst idea ever...

  • @PinkSlipPROCTUCTIONS lool thanks !!! but i don"t work for any company ... i wish is was in the dreamworks or pixar studio but it's really hard ... maybe someday...

  • Comment removed

  • O.O i want your skill!!!!! give it to me!!!!!! lol i cant wait to get these pens

  • ooohh my... im in love...

  • i have over 200 of theme markers and yes they make me go broke between buying video games too. >.<

  • amazing!

  • @animehappydance yeah totally !! it just depends on how you spend your money ^^ ! i needeed to spare for 2 years to buy all the art tools i wanted :)

  • @Sakuems

hey to get these markers cheaper than at store especially Prisma color markers just look on eBay I got a set that cost 79.99 at Michaels for 20.00 on eBay. Now the Copic markers are about 4.99 each on eBay but if you keep looking you can find cheap stuff. Amazing drawing by the way great colors how do you blend and is their a white marker? couldn't find one

  • @Nikierue thanks for the Ebay tips :) ! There is no "white"marker but you can use the blender (which is a maker with no ink, just alcohol) but i don't like it ... to blend the colors, just work quickly when the ink is still wet on the paper.

  • @Nikierue

In some tutorial this lady said that the best white marker is Signo white marker. I think it is Uni-ball Signo Broad white marker check them out. Go to youtube coloring digi stamp face and there you can see about the Signo white marker.

  • You must have loads of money because COPICS are expensive. I only got cool greys copics.

  • @koolkidz123 I dont have a "lot" of money, i just spend it on something really important. Copics are expensive, but i don"t smoke, i don't drink or buy expensive shoes. My money is for my Art :)

You just need to spare money, little by little

  • I'm completely amazed by the results you get from a copic marker....but it's just soooo expensive that I can't get myself to buy them...I whish I had them :'(

    Great job by the way

  • @KaraokeSwings thx !!! I know they are expensive, i dream of them for 5 years before i can afford them ! Actually the money came from a commission for a customer, so thanks to my art, i was able to offer me this awesome art tools :)
