this is the best and the only reenacting of an awesome anime at some convention that didn't look totally ridiculous.

you can feel all the effort that was put into this, great choreography and not some nerds in costumes hitting each other with styrofoam bats.

what people seem to forget is that when neo falls backwards in bullettime, he doesnt get back up, but actually falls down. what he did is possible, just hard to time due to the intensly fast speed of a bullet. by playing the clip in slowmo (bullettime) it looked like a complex procedure. it doesnt really change anything, but it kinda bugs me when i see it, like when someone says "samwich" intead of sandwich.

Actually, it's not possible, because unless his shoes are glued to the building or something, gravity would not allow Neo to fall so quickly.

thats why you need good timing to dodge bullets. neo timed it right and fell so all the bullets pretty much missed. and its not like the agent didnt see what was happening and aimed down instead, because some bullets actually grazed neo. but if you were doing it without having someone shoot at you, timing wouldnt matter, its still possible. ive done it, jim carrey can do it, some of my friends have done it...

Well, it's not possible, because if I looked at the frames of the movie and compared the speed of the bullet, then his body would be moving very, very fast. Faster than gravity could carry him downwards. He wasn't really falling, more like shooting downwards.

I agree that the motion itself is possible, and that dodging bullets by falling is possible, it's just the fact that Neo fell too fast for it to be possible. But hey, it's the matrix, you can do whatever you want.
