  • I noticed the brand on your inverter. Harbor Freight stuff is inexpensive, but also very cheap. You may want to search for better quality units if you need to rely on them. Check eBay for LED strips. The strips would work better for dispersing the light and they are inexpensive.

  • Reconditioned 4 batteries and did a 2hour 10 amp vacuum test pulling 1200 watts. There is still more amp hours, ran out of time.

My first test only ran for 20 minutes on the same four batteries when I first configured the solar / battery array.

Here's proof that desulfating batterries works!

  • @PulseFuelNerd IF ITS RAIN WHAT TO DO DUH O_o? O-o ur weird.. weird man.. ever!! ;o

  • You're living my dream man :) Keep the vids coming!

  • YES, Step by step!

I want to morph the "that's impossible for me" sentiments out there into "hey, i could do that too!"

  • A usual a couple of questions lol. Sorry just found your channel. Why was container #5 delivered 1st and why is it #5 whats different about it than all the future containers? How many ton's of cooling does this peace of equipment your talking about provide do you have a link to a web site so I can ck it out? Looking foward to seeing more progress. Thanks for the video.

  • #5 is a standard 40' container (price and timing was good). The other four will be HC (high cube) at 9.5' tall. I am experimenting with PVC solar water panels as my ground exchange panels. This exchanger is only one part of the air conditioning system which starts with a swamp cooler (barrel fan). I have no metrics on this as yet. I am excited about this adventure, definately, more vids to come.

  • PVC will break down over time due to UV and exposure to harsh weather conditions. If your budget allows it evacuated tubes are your best option. Living in AZ I'm sure they would be efficient most of the year. Are you in the high desert? A swamp cooler I do believe would work well in that area also because of low humidity levels good idea. Thanks for the reply.

  • The panels will be in sand in the trench, I am only worried about crushing pressures, and system leakage due to faulty cementing. air pressure test before burrying.

  • You say "price was right", how much does a container cost? Just trying to get my head around the cost/benefit vs a stick built home.

  • #5 was $1000. HC are $1375 if my memory serves, but have not actually purchased from this source yet. Maybe next week- crossin fingers!

  • Oh ya, costs... my steel super structure is $10k or less, and is rated for 200 tons. I figure +/- $50K for the completed R&D center.

  • Great Job there PFN,, keep at it and keep them vids coming,, interesting stuff bud,,
