Please moderate the terms ... This is not the place as a football stadium, or a stupid talk show. The best way to express an opinion about the artists is certainly not of this kind, that means less than nothing ... And I said OPINION, therefore, debatable on the music, but without insulting with vulgarity absolutely unnecessary. Thank you.
In the field of tastes cannot argue: completely subjective.
As you know, Bowie has developed and performed two versions of his song very different (the original one in the 70's, the other in the 90's). With all my respect for Kurt and for his performance, delicate and full of pathos, I prefer DB in both versions (the antipode between them) or, wanting, even richly complementary. But, you see... is a subjective matter.
Opening with a passage almost solemn, going on with enticing harmony, oscillating in movements up and down of the scale that seem to describe the excursion among joy, sadness, wonder, uncertainty: the prelude to a scene in which there will be a secret conversation with destiny. Amazing atmosphere of suspension in the face to the integrant part of physical world, that destructive one that we would want forget, gliding painlessly in our existence. Great Bowie.
We never know what he have Until it's stripped away We never appreciate what he have Until a disastrous day As such in Japan The big disaster Has made us see That help needs to come faster Let us all pray For those in Japan That hopefully That beautiful land May recover From their horrible fate And get up once more To rid themselves of this weight We sit and pray That they be strong That nothing else may go wrong There is nothing else Left to say Let them get through everyday
Great Pete... The balancing mechanisms of Nature: dives into antimatter with turbulence; evolution's changes. We can learn to control fear with grace of passing through any annihilating doubt, beyond the visible, sure that Love continues even in low energy's times: change is a right. What, if face to face with us, interlocutor on the stairs (thought dead)? Loss: what most can speak powerfully to our inner lack; seduction, control vs our Energy when Awareness doesn't manifest.

Why can't anyone like both versions? Bowie's is simply amazing. It's a classic. Nirvana executed a great cover, in my opinion. It's amazing as well.
Christ, people are so close minded.

"Blatantly" is the perfect adverb, the attribute most pertinent and centered.
Thank you very much.
