I actually won the oppurtunity to sing live on stage with this "Legend".Something i will cherish and never ever forget for the rest of my life!! If you would like to view it? Look up JOHN PEREIRA SINGING WITH "STEVIE WONDER"...Love you "STEVIE":)
i bet it felt GREAT!, i not only like his music, i like him as a PERSON! in interviews, i've never met him, up he comes across as down to earth, unpretentious, just seems like a regular guy, which is unusually for such a legend, got a good sense of humour as well, positive personality, is that how he came across to you?
I'm heaartbroken. I drove 3 hours to get there, by the time I found parking and we walked there, it was 6:00 and police said no more people could come in. It was sooo many people, shoulder to shoulder who wanted to get in, that I just gave up. What I couldn't understand was that I couldn't hear anything from the outside...I heard, "Don't you worry 'bout a thing" a little bit, but that was it. Was the sound quality poor. I'm at at a loss of why I couldn't even hear him.
Stevie`s gonna leave a huge legacy as The Beatles did, for example, he`s the best . . . . live legend, I love him

Man, I was at that concert, missed two days of school to go to it cause of the rain. That concert has to be the greatest concert I've been to yet.
It completely changed my life musically and officially added Stevie into my repretoir of songs.
