Haha i love the zr1 and with this package it reaches 200mph in 5th gear not even 6th. They say with the zr700 package it will go around 220mph, 750hp package around 232mph, and with the awesome zr1000 package upwards off 245+mph, crazy!

making a ZR1 a 10 second car is super easy.Hell an intake or exhaust could get you to 10.9 or 11 flat easily enough. basic bolt ons,headers,intake,exhaust,chi­p...etc could get you to 700+hp.that said,this video makes my hair stand on end,gives me goosebumps,my spine tingle,my nipples hard and my no-no area feel funny.god damn that LS9 is pissed.

The car reaches it's top speed in 5th gear. The 6th gear is so low that the car won't push it at that speed. It's really only there for highway driving. Gas saver, overdrive. Whatever you want to call it.

Yeah, it'll feel cheap, but I'm sure it will have a longer usable life over that of a Ferrari. Ferraris require insane maintenance and there aren't many common parts. For that, I could consider them about equal in terms of long term build quality. The only supercar that you can count on is a 911 and that's because it's developed so conservatively. On the bright side, Corvettes are very easy to customize. So in theory, you can take control of build quality issues into your own hands.
