@FuzzyJar No, it's not slacklining because of they type of material he's using--look at the rope. It's rounded unlike a slackline which is flat due to webbing.
@FuzzyJar It's tightrope walking like it says in the video title. Slacklining as a sport is low to the ground and is concerned with performing tricks on the line. Type "Gibbon slacklining" into the search bar.
@ownedbystealth It's called tightrope walking. It is a rope not flat, elastic webbing. The fact that it IS taught is the reason why. A slackline has less tension, hence the word "slack." The webbing bounces and sways when you walk on it, which is why it is often used to teach people to surf.
I was intimidated by hiking the Appalachian trail. If he can not only admit his fears, but push himself past those fears to do something as insane as THAT?
@mistertug you too! wow i get dizzy and my feet sweat also..i thought i was the only one. what does this say about a person.. i used to climb trees all the time but i slowly caught the fear of falling..im much older now but i wonder what it says about a person.

I have also contemplated landing a wing suit,
The maths say is very doable.
A good glide ratio suit with a gradient transition and a wheel or a ski to evenly disperse the energy and it's done!

@dyikini
If you get a chance, you might want to rename this video. The sport is "slacklining" rather than tightrope walking. Thanks for posting it!
