An NFL reject has already made it into the UFC his name is Brock Lesnar. He tried out for the NFL and failed before he went to MMA. MMA is not at its peak MMA is still growing, it has reached a level of success but still has alot of room for growth, it has yet to reach its full potential.

I think they gave up elimination fights cause of dave falkner & the that U.S guy with the hurt ankle . Dave falkner bitching out during a fight and the other U.S guy decideing not to fight . Dana White has said that Kimbo won't get any special treatment, but it is very fishy they all of the sudden got rid of the house eliminations. Dana knows what sells and what doesn't, and it would definitely cost them some ratings if Kimbo didn't even make it into the house. Still, there is no real evidence to say they got rid of house elimination fights just for kimbo.

It is just my opinion. He should have great striking, clinch, good cardio, good take down defence and decent wrestling and basic jiu jitsu jiu/ground escape. Cardio is a great advantage.

Taking away the elimination fights at the beginning shows how much faith they have in Kimbo.

Having Kimbo on will definitely draw big ratings though. The Kimbo hype machine was built so well that I still see large numbers of people talking up Kimbo as if he's the baddest motherfucker since Mike Tyson in his prime.

I think this is the best move that Kimbo can take right now. He just better show up as a serious student and not have this 'I'm better than all of you' attitude.

I pretty much agree with. It is horseshit that there is no preliminary match-ups. And they are just trying to do a freakin' celebrity show. I mean they have a past NFL Star. I think the reason they arent fighting their way into the house is that this season is purely for the heavy weights, and its probably hard enough to get 16 heavyweights that are even reasonably good, but finding 32 is probably quite a challenge.
