@Joshdouglasveer You certainly do need a seal, but you can probably find some craft foam at your local craft/hobby shop. I used a hot glue gun to make a hole in the foam.

@Joshdouglasveer 1. The foam creates a seal between the plunger tube and the barrel. 2. I replaced the barrels with CPVC, so yeah, I did remove the ARs. Also, if you are going so far as to complete this whole modification, you might as well just remove them. 3. Because I cut the CPVC for each barrel, a little shorter than the full length of the turret, the barrels can still accept stock Nerf darts and stefans (homeade darts). 4. A little bit, but not too much.

Ok... I Must Not Be Doing Something Right. I Got Some Half Inch CPVC And Tried To Put A Nerf Streamline Dart In It And Just Blow It Out Like A Blowgun But Its Really Hard To Get It To Even Move. What Am I Doing Wrong?

@Joshdouglasveer  CPVC is typically a very tight barrel material for Nerf darts and stefans (homeade darts), especially with streamlines. Streamlines don't work to well in CPVC because their rubber tip sometimes catches on the inside of the CPVC and gets the dart stuck.

Several questions. How did you get the CPVC so flush with the turret? Did you glue to slip mech? Did you use a different spring or just the stock one? What foam did you use and how much does it interfere with the auto rotation? (Unless urs is manual rotation)

4. I used BBB arrow foam. As you can see, I added quite a few trigger springs, so as long as I pull the trigger hard enough, it will rotate.
