HouseNationChicago. What decade did this music came out in. 1990's or 1980's. Where was I when this music came out in? I remember a local Minneapolis station playing this type of music in 1990's but the rock stations finally got the government to ban this music because they lost listesners to this higher quality music. It was a sad day when britney the teen drugie beat the talented House music. In minnesota.:(

More like the late 70's but did not make it to bigger radio until early/mid 80's. I started playing it regularly in Detroit in 82 (as a freshman in highschool). I knew a DJ in the D that played in at Western Michigan with my cousins.
