I know this was based on a book, but this seems an awful lot like ANOTHER christmas special that was claymation animation and was really good, in fact, one of my favorite christmas specials ever...

Check that, the certain special was NOT based on a book. So, they're ripping off the special, almost word for word...

Now, don't get me wrong, I like veggietales, and it will probably be a pretty decent movie. But the fact that they are doing that with the other rather nice serious special is just lame...

Ok, I just saw this, and absolutely loved it! It's probably better than the original because it explains all the stuff with the census and Romans and taxes, so that the little ones can get it. Definetley a must see for veggie fans, even if you love the classics more!

I remember reading in Phil Visher's biography that one of his rules was to not portray Jesus as a vegtable. That kinda irks me. But I still wanna see it, the original christmas special is my favorite one!!!

You know what..it might be a tad dark, but they should do the Star Wars Saga...Revenge of the Sith especially to show darkness and Return of the Jedi to show you can be forgiven
