I guess humans need to believe in a god. The reason I don't believe in any human created god is that there are so many religions it is easy to see that they were all invented by humans. In the old days it was invented to prevent anarchy so that people thought someone was always looking over their shoulder at their actions even when they were alone. Today it is about power and money with new religions being spawned to make the creator of the religion rich. All gods are invented by humans.

Martyrdom is surely a medal which is of one of the highest nature. And it is nothing to be sad about.
And those who believe in Allah and His Messengers - they are the Siddiqun (i.e. those followers of the Prophets who were first and foremost to believe in them), and the martyrs with their Lord, they shall have their reward and their light.

I live in a Christian nation (as an atheist) where we mutilate 80% of our newborns by cutting off part of their penis. Nobody blinks an eye at this but making cutting a kids head has everybody up in arms. Religion is backwards and dangerous no matter which one it is.
