  • after watching this 7 in evening we used to get out and pretend to be one of character and run after each other... now my nephew plays PSP3 with his friends sitting on couch all at their home.. Generation Gap eh :)

  • i cant believe i used to wait whole week to watch them.

  • wow. i had these toys. they were the shit.

  • They got a black guy in the family and even an asian. Cartoons back then and even today sure have a lot of diversity.

  • the six million dollars man married to the bionic woman and adapt children.

  • Why doesn't someone do an anime remake of this show?!

    The same with Dinosaucers! X3

  • I remember having to wake up really early as a kid to catch this before school. I loved it. Thanks for posting this!

  • Too bad they don't have the entire series out on DVD already.

  • Wow. This took me back. I'm gonna see if I can find anymore.

  • Don't you love the 80's! SUPER FUTURE FAMILY!!!

  • I watched this like crazy my self every monday-friday at 3:30pm on KDNL channle 30 St.Louis.

  • cartoons ho rocked and still does. it was made in a time before the cartoon become idiotic, sponge bob, fairygodfathers, fines and ferb etc, etc, what will my children watch on tv????

  • their ship and the part when they're skydiving reminds me a little too much of Gatchaman

  • best intro ever

  • can the bionic six beat the fantastic four? And is the black guy and orphan or something. That's cool!!!

  • @charliecaptain, they were all adopted, did you not notice the asian brother?

  • I didn't knew that Ryu was part of the Bonic six

  • I didn't Ryu was in the bonic six

  • Does anyone else think this song sounds like it could be a Mentos commercial if the lyrics were tweaked some?

  • I saw this on the that SCI-FI CHANNEL week days morning cartoon block

  • Animation supervised by Japan's legendary Osamu Dezaki

  • I loved this show! Wish they could bring it back.

  • @biggbadmilt WTF IS WRONG WIT U

  • If they make a movie of this, they just need to keep it an animation with the same style. Bring back the creative story telling and feeling of the 80s. Something that's so badly missing in animation today.

  • @hootyhaha

    One problem...

All the people who draw this well to animate like this are DEAD.

Seriously this level of craft doesn't exist anymore in Asia (forget about the US). It's why they are using computers to "pretty up" their animation more and more.

  • @o82774 There's still some good talent in Animation. Consider all the super hero cartoons that continue to come out as movies on DVD. Captain America, Hulk, Superman, Black Atom. I think it's Anime thoug I'm not sure. But back when they made Transformers the Movie in 1986, they used Japanese animators. Look at the credits. Sometime about that style, even when it's made to look more Westernized, just looks good. But then there is Don Bleuth.. is he still alive? I love his style.

  • @hootyhaha

All the animation you mentioned are indeed done by Japanese animators with some help from Koreans. But none of the work you mentioned matches the quality of this Bionic six intro or any of the "movie quality" animation of the 80's. The line quality articulation of from, rhythm of the timing, none of that is done anymore. Bleuth is good but he's strictly western funny animal stuff. He tries to expand in Titan AE but it lacked a lot of the things I mentioned.

  • @o82774 Somebody posted on a Transformers board that the reason the Transformers intros looked so good was because animators took extra time to make sure they looked good enough to sell toys. I never noticed it but they were right. If you watch the intro to Transformers Season 4, every bit of video was in a commercial to sell one of the toys. I wonder if this is the same case for Bionic Six , and the rest. Thundercats had an awesome intro too.

  • OMG! Thats got to be the worst cartoon theme song ever!

  • Brings back good childhood memories...luv this cartoon!

  • This is so rockin' awesome

  • The 36 million dollar family!

  • This show ROCKS...and so does the intro...remember eating breakfast before heading to school watching this show...nice.

  • One of the few that actually put money into the production. Reminds me of Mighty Orbots, with the joint animation from Tokyo Movie Shinsha.

  • 80s cartoons kicked ass

  • @elcubanito1700 at least their theme songs rocked

  • if it starts with "we are are a family" you know it's going to be a show that makes you gag

  • @stethespaniard2 Now that I'm older I'd agree ... but man this show kicked ass in the eighties!! I couldn't wait to watch it.

  • Fantastic ! ! !

  • I liked this cartoon but I didn't like that the heros did not wear masks or disguise themselves when their bionics were off.

  • memories TvT

  • Estas Si Eran Vrdaderas Seris Pra La infacia no Como Ls Pendejadas de Bob Esponja, Los Pdrinos Magicos , La Vaca Y L Pollito y Otras Pendejadas Mas De Hoy en Dia

  • Bionic SIx, hands down the number one cartoon theme song of the 1980's!!!

  • I remember this when I was a kid. The best show on Saturday mornings in Atlanta.

  • One of the coolest intros to a great team of super-hero's!!

I love the BIONIC-SIX 6!! So cool if there was a re-make or a film version!

    AEQ

  • so my thank you bro.

  • killer theme song. Im gonna cry. whaaaaaaaa
