im having trouble with the mute after the D and G, any tips?

I use a combination of both my left and right hand using the palm of my strumming hand to kinda hammer into the strings and laying my left hand flat on the strings. I think this gives it a cool sound. You can definatly get away with just laying your left hand on the strings though. I would start with that and see how it goes. You dont necessarily need to do 3 mutes either like i do in this version. often heard dave play with just one quick mute using a downstrum. le me know how it goes

@Palazzolo41 theres no muting needed to play this song. this cover isnt correct on how dave plays it on guitar. if you want to here how its supposed to sound listen to dave play it or watch the 123michaelm123 cover. he plays it well

this is really good. first off, i hate when people cover dmb songs and try to sing and butcher them. also, i enjoyed the jam you added. another thing is that, like dave, you kept your strumming hand moving at all times, which is something dave does and is very hard to get down. well done
