@THEharperizer There is only one GSA 1.1 Special known to be on the road in the UK and a few GS models with the 1129cc engine. I have a GS Pallas and GSA taxed and both are superior to travel in to most modern cars.....but they will rust!
@citnut3 Ah that was it, the GSA Special, thanks for reminding me. Mine I bought when living in Germany so was left hand drive. I doubt if there will ever be a car with such a small engine capacity but with such road comfort. I don't know the bhp but mine would cruise at 90 easily.
@THEharperizer The 1129cc Special had 55 bhp @ 5,750 revs and 58 lbft of torque at 3,500 revs. The top speed when tested was in the mid 90s but one magazine wound the earlier GS with the same engine up to 108 mph in favourable conditions. The 0-60 time is about 16 secs as far as I can find out. If you travel in the back of the top luxury end Citroen C6 and then in the back of a GS/A, you will conclude that the ride is better in the GS/A.
I fell in love with this car,I want to buy one so much,but it is very difficult to find a descent one,hope I'll be lucky enough.although I got Diyane and I'm happy with it,but I want to change it with the GS this car is beautiful,we'll see...
Was my first ever car back in 1985. 1.1 litre but so comfy on the road.
