The driver isn't trying to battle the torque, there's no body roll, and the reason the driver is going so slowly is to; warm up tires, warm up engine, feel the track, feel the cars behavior

@85mzd3 He is Iiri san, GT300 pro driver, and owner of the circuit, he is checking that the car is safe and how it handles before he goes full accel and also getting some heat in the tires.

I absolutely love Skylines and this thing is an animal. Despite all its power though a much less powerful car will see this off round most tracks as the handling looks really poor. The guys that set this up obviously have a lot to learn on how to set a car up. Even in a straight line the driver was battling away with it to keep it on the black stuff!

@wingies777 Basically, this car was built for an overseas customer, but the suspension on the car was very expensive and body is by nismo racing so it does`nt flex at all, and the Suspension is way too stiff for this circuit, however in Norway where the car races, it has come second place a few times against some serious machines, due to the circuits being flat which is where the suspension works perfect

when the corners arrive is too slow, or because the driver swerve into the corners.

Big inertia because of its heavyweight.

A fast car for drag race, not for the track.

I surely wudnt want this car, too inexperienced to go out with something like this.

@fernandoshumi Wrong, Its a circuit car but suspension doesnt work here, Driver is owner of the circuit and GT300 champion driver, and knows what he is doing, the time we did here was 1:23 sec (IIRC) where as a normal tuned good driver in a GTR will lap it in 1:30.

-No car is every race ready unless it was purpose built for it(and few real cars are)

-If there was a car that you could throw a few simple mods on and it could beat all the rest then  A. it would've been made already and B. everybody and their crazy grandma would have one.

@nick9394 we actually didnt change the suspension, chassi is nismo and as solid as can be with over 7,000 welds but that + suspension for this up and down course was miss match the driver said, inside wheel was lifting on courners and he couldnt get the power down fast on the exit, every little bump tried to through the car, thats why only managed a 1:22.......when we wanted a 1:16 but thats life

its only running 1.5kg/m boost, so around 600hp now until the driver gets used to it, but then he can run 800hp when needed and has nos.

haha im afraid not! as you americans dont get the stock Rb30 it may be right. but over in austrilasia there are loads of actual rb30's. no one uses the rb26 kit over here as its far to expensive compared to what we build them for. i can pick up a rb30 short block for $100 NZD.rebuild with forgies and its bullet proof if you know how to build and tune it right!
