Its important to realize what this woman was saying. She says the president of pakistan, musharraf, supported religious extremists to overcome the moderates and to rule pakistan. She says this and other choices by him have led to increased terrorism and will foster future terrorism as well. She says countries should support their moderates and not let dictators exploit the religious to gain power.

Bhutto herself, in an email said that if anything happened to her, Musharraf was to blame. She asked for 4 tinted vehicles and for cell phones to be jammed. She received neither one. Musharraf did not do enough to Protect her. Musharraf is RESPONSIBLE!

It is true that Bhutto while prime minister was an ally of the burgeoning Taliban government. Its also true that the US empowered the extremists in order to destabilise the USSR, and once this was achieved abandoned Afghanistan. I would like to hear Afghans accept some blame, though.
