  • I think this is amazing ... I can't get hit a string with my finger tip and get it to make much of a sound at all ... is it my strings? my guitar? .... my action? ... or do I need fingertips made of steel?

  • how is your capo on the 3rd fret? i tuned it to DADGAD and mine is on the 2nd. if i put it on the 3rd then its too high..

  • others try to play this...they do well..but not as good as this dude....

  • can i ask u a qn.. how can i make my hammering and pull off as loud as yours

  • @callmexuan This probably isn't what you're looking for but honestly practicing will make it louder. With hammering you just have to build up your finger strength, callouses lol, and just hit it straight on. Keep practicing it for a few minutes a day and it will get louder. When I first started my hammers were dead silent lol. Good luck!

  • Where's the second part I need to learn the rest! Haha great vid!

  • Can't wait for part 2. Cheers

  • I was about to post on the other video if there is a tab or something to learn how to play. I'm glad to see you made a video for it!

    Thanks a lot, incredible song.

  • absolutely wonderful melody.. One question though, are you playing an acoustic electric? the sound is amazingly clear in your hammer ons and pull offs.

  • no electrics :-)

  • Incredible! Thanks, you're awesome!

  • Thanks Mike :-)

  • : | wtf is wrong with you people?

  • This guy likes having fun. can tell in his voice. i like em. good job on the song mate!

  • is part 2 coming soon?

  • CONVEYWOOD! your the best! now i finally know how to hammer :D

  • nice job!

  • Love to see what this sounds like on an electric!

  • NICE!!!!

  • wooooowoowowowowow just wow

and my (gay) hammer-ons sound so loow

    :(

    u'r goood tho

    thx

  • We all here at KtF are wondering if you made any taps for this?

  • no - just this slo mo :-)

  • This is good. But what I don't understand is why you need a capo at all? there is no voice accompaniment so no need to change the pitch

  • there is no "need" - there is simply the sensual pleasure of what happens to the sound of a guitar when you put your arms (or a capo) around its neck. :-)

  • haha, there's nothing sensual about what happens when I put my arms round a guitar. Just a horrible noise. Still I will try to give this a go...it sounds good

  • :-) give it a go !

  • Do you have any more Celtic songs like this. It is wonderful.

  • working on it :-)

  • part2 part2 please~!!!!!

  • Ive got to go bye a capo and watch this about hundred more time

    THankS

  • Great work. Thanks for taking the time to teach. I'm buying a capo because of you. Can't place your accent though, where are you from?

  • I'm Engliah, though brought up in Wales and then lived in Australia for ten formative years. Bit of a muddle really. Piers

  • I Thought that was modified Aussie. Keep pickin mate. Cheers.

  • This is just great, thanx for sharing this :)

  • sound a little south indian doesn't it? haha!

  • Another great hammer-on song is Rush's Hope,

Alex lifeson tunes his 12 string to dadaad, whitch is awesome... but you lose a lot of strings :P
