It's an amazing piece of kit. It's built like a tank (you could easily kill a man with it). The biggest downside is that it's real metal so it's not fun to put on one's knees in the colder weather. BTW the pads are a total delight. It integrates like a dream with Ableton - have played a bunch of drum racks and midi slices. I will be pairing this with an Akai Apc40 for serious production. The Pad-One will be used for laying down all my drum patterns.
@BeatMakerTV They seem to clack in the video. I hope they fix that. In terms of ableton, having an XY next to your clips to mess with effects seems like it could be fun. But does anyone know specifically what he's doing there? I'm still new to ableton, so there are a lot of things I'm wondering about this. Trying to figure out what he did there. I think he had 1 beat going while using the pad synced to a drum rack.
You're absolutely right. They do click. He has a combination of loops and single hits loaded in ableton. Some of the Drums sounds are short loops. Hes triggering everything from the Pad-One. Good drumming.
@BeatMakerTV Is he just timing well? Because I took a closer look at his screen and I didn't see a drum rack and 80% of his buttons make sounds right when they click. (Sorry if this a standard thing. I've been using the demo for about two weeks and there are still many mysteries to this, for me.)
That thing is sick!! amazing work you did with this, very clever, its like an MPC but uses a computer instead and has very intuitive controls, congratulations.
what songs did he play?

Pads look comfy, and that aluminum frame is a win.
