Japanese cars doesnt have any passion or soul, they are just machines. American cars have so much character but are backwards, and European cars are the benchmark for cars (except French cars).

Clarkson has made millions off of bashing the US, Germany, France, you name it. I say let the little men blow off some steam, it's really all they can do, as at the end of the day the UK still has no car makers that aren't owned by the very people they love to ridicule.

I saw the movie, and wasn't impressed. Unfortunatly, it was just more anti-American garbage. None of the so-called 'contests' were fair, like when they compare how fast a Dodge Ram Hemi goes around a racetrack to an Ariel Atom! It's completely obvious that no matter how good our cars are, he will ALWAYS say they're crap. I get so tired of snooty europeons bashing our cars! We need an American show that talks about how unreliable and overpriced THEY'RE cars are! They'd hate that!

Oh theres some pretty crappy European cars, hmm a few Opel's come to mind. Even Alfa's can be complete crap. I'm not a fan of American cars, I prefer Japanese, but this DVD was the crappiest piece of work Jeremy has ever made. It's all apples-to-oranges comparisons. M5 to SRT8? Mustang to Lotus? It's just poorly made, and frankly staged.

ok u told me "crappy" euro cars, but name 1 good american car as uposed to Lambos, Ferraris, BMWs, TVRs, and the Ford GT, which has all European parts, even the whole chassis because if america made that car the hood would have a massive blower sticking out, a 2 ft diameter exhaust, and 4 gears...

Well have fun thinking for about 3 weeks and then giving a concept car as an answer

clarkson isnt "bashing" ur stupid american things u somehow call "cars," and it just goes to show u guys have NO good cars what so ever. the atom vs the hemi... of course the atom will win but it won against a kawasaki ZX-12, let alone a car that goes

0-60 in like 8 seconds with a top speed of about 170. it just goes to show that america does not have a car making talent, their only talent - eating a big mac in less than 0.8 seconds.

I'm not sure how old you are, but you don't have a very good grasp of the English language. Japanese cars = best cars in the world, hands down. Euro cars = overpriced piles of shit or underpriced tuna cans with wheels. American cars = gas guzzling tanks.

Japanese cars are very good indeed, now the European cars are waaaaay superior, u cannot compare a Toyota to a BMW, japanese cars are affordable cars that are endlessly to copy everything the europeans do in their cars, Ferrari for an instance, can you compare it to any, I mean ANY japanese car? Japanese cars are transport machines, european cars are the real deal, if you can't afford one, that is a pity.

Why does it always come back to luxury or supercars? If your going to spend 100,000 on a vehicle it better perform well, but for the majority of people, the Japanese build superior mid-size and compact cars. Don't tell me Opel or Citroen can build a better or more reliable car than Toyota/Honda. BMW and Mercedes are NOT the only European auto manufacturers. Please, more Americans own Mercedes/BMW per capita than all of Europe.
