I think he makes some of his beats. Some of the beats are by someone else..

the Madvillian album for instance is a combination of beats by Madlib and raps by MF doom. Same goes for the album Danger Doom; raps by MF Doom, and beats by Danger mouse.

I'm not sure about all the other albums... like his Doomsday album; maybe some one else who knows more can telly a but I was under the assumption that one had his own beats.

@esofolis yea some of the beats are his and some he has had produced by various ppl lyke da king geedorah joint, but i kno MM...FOOD, and his newest album were his own productions and his first album was a combination of a couple of subroc beats and his own i think but its been awhile so imma prolly hav to go confirm it lol
