Im from Canada we have speckled trout but they dont look like that there also called brook trout. there not as big i wonder if they taste the same. interesting
I dearly love and miss speckle trout fishing in NW FL (my home) a shrimp on a hook and you will ALWAYS catch fish!!! none of this sitting and waiting and casting and casting and casting some more like the lakes in GA
i live in florida, here u can throw just about anything in the water and catch a trout... one time i had a small trout on the hook with a jig, and a massive one took the little one.
@bbnnkk1 I have found huge fish inside trout and you look at the trout it came out of and say how is that possible.I have seen trout in a clear shallow water with tails sticking out of their mouth.big trout are vicious!
@maeishoj mirrordines are great!mirror lure has shallow water fishing all figured out.The big trout hit the top water baits,Top Dog,she dog,top pup,zara spook,big trout are an ivestment in time.Shore fishing is best done with live or cut bait,like shrimp on a cork or pinfish,mabey finger mullet .Keep a hard lure ready to keep you busy while your waiting.
I know one of them is a u s reel 230 sx the red one is a diawa combo I bought at bass pro,they built one a mile from my house,That 230sx and a st croix gfaphite 6.6is great combo.longe casting,aspecialy with light braid,and light enough to walk the dog all day without your arm falling off.
Easiest bait for seatrout is anything DOA especially spad tails with a nice jig DOA glitter shrimp and anything night glow FTW.

especially when the camera is on.Its tough to get it all,from the first hit to the net.Ive tried saying "cue the fish" but it doesnt work.
