Minecraft folder is by default in c - users - your username - AppData - Roaming - .minecraft. In that folder is "texturepacks" folder. Put the downloaded ZIP texture pack in there. Then download the latest mcpatcher, run it and click patch. Close the mcpatcher and start Minecraft. Go in texture packs menu in Minecraft and select the texture pack u wish to use.

P.S. AppData folder is not visible if u dont have "show hidden folders" checked in folder options.

I use MPEG-2 encoding to make .MPG files. Bitrate 6-10 Mbps. Thats the best settring with PowerDirector 9 Ultra. Every sotfware makes encoding little differently.

U dont need to unzip texture ZIPs. Download the "mcpatcher-2.1.0_02.exe" and open the zip file with that to load the textures.

Actually they are not so dark. Youtube just dont show the original video in its full brightness. When I watch the original video file on my computer, its much brighter. So its just the Youtube player, not the texture pack. Dont blame the makers of these great textures, they are doing a great job.

@Orcidea To be fare High res Textures are Evil they take away from the Minecraft vanilla experience I suggest getting the "YogBox". (Collection of mods fun and game changing but without destroying that Minecraft feel) Anything Else to me reminds me of that shitty knock off Fortress Craft. Blaah.

Actually HD texture pack's really ARE darker than the original texture pack.

I tried this texture pack on my Minecraft, and for me, it was too dark. (used to play with the original)

I did not like the grass eighter.

But as you play longer and longer with a texture pack, you will get used to it and you basically wont see the difference.

And yes, Youtube need's to make videos brighter too :)

I also remember coming to your channel when it was just Fallout, you helped me get the weapons in Fallout 3 I could never find! I also just heard about a 'Pimp-boy' in FNV that apparently changes your Pip-boy to a solid-gold-with-studded-diamon­ds one.. do you know of that? Or could you make a video for it?

Orc - you say you record with Fraps but how do you get around the filze size? Around 10 minutes is 6GB at 60FPS for me!

The raw AVI files need to be edited and rendered to other format of course. Do not upload the raw files, they are uncompressed video files, hence the big size. Use a video editing software, like Windows Movie Maker, to edit and encode the footage.

My raw footage is 4Gb / 2 mins with full-size recording. Compression would take too much CPU power and time, so Fraps records in uncompressed AVI (raw video stream). After I've edited and rendered the video, its about 1Gb / 15 min.
