As far as I know Stan was just a helicopter traffic reporter. I don't believe he was the pilot. The pilot in this video was Will Prater. He pilot Sky 7 as well as Sky 4 for KRON TV.

I remember by 1996 the Helicopter turned Blue.

Yeap it sure did. Looks like they also swicthed out choppers also. The tail #'s have changed through out the years.

KGO now has N22227 for Sky7 HD because I saw the ABC 7 Helicopter over Vallejo

and over San Pablo in recent years.
