  • LEGENDSSSSSSSS !!

  • To be floored by the sound of pure beauty of the two angel voiced legends of my life and the thort of ever getting to sing with them. It bring tears to my eyes. Brilliant!!

  • Both voices of the century!

  • those voices together makes me thrill !

  • A duet that should've happened many years ago...two legendary voices. I would LOVE if Stevie could follow the lead of Sinatra, Ray Charles, Tony Bennett, & Rod Stewart...re-recording some of his classics with some unlikely partners. I hate to say it, but I wouldn't mind hearing him do something with Gaga. Somewhere under all of those dumb clothes and that techno-junk, I actually hear a decent voice. Only a genius like him could possibly bring out that better side of her.

  • Interesting and mezmerizing song.. Terrific !!!

  • Rubbish....what's a troll?

  • this is bad! thought they could never do this song justice but they did it

  • If I were a millionaire, I would buy Stevie's violet suit. I adore it

  • Absolutely no one touches Stevie Wonder. He IS music.

  • can u rap sing or dance or make beats ...model act..entertain,,..if so make me a friend on facebook javon hunt

  • can u rap sing or dance or make beats .....if so make me a friend on facebook javon hunt

  • diana ross' version of this is nice.

  • @whatigot2say

    So is Phil Collins' :)

  • @Powiean Phil did a fantastic job covering this :)

  • ... and now, how can anyone else say "I can sing"?

  • Tom Jones KING of man voice

  • Tom out does stevie here vocally, stevie is in n out of pitch with the way he throws his voice around on those runs, his runs are pitchy

  • @stratojamesnz

WHAT? Stevie's out of pitch?? Even though he did some adlib in here Stevie's pitch is precise.

Anyway the greatness of Stevie's vocal is in the way he harmonized his voice with other's voice like 1:26.

  • @swf i agree sounds like someone has been listening to shit music for so long it has effecting his hearing. Stevie Wonder is untouchable.

  • Comment removed

  • @stratojamesnz If Stevie's off.. so what.. !!! He has our permission to sing off KEY.. because he is STEVIE WONDER... cannot be compared with anyone else.. REMEMBER THAT !!!

  • @stratojamesnz you have got to be trolling

  • Both are The Legends.

And let them be like that forever.

  • IMO stevie wonder= legend, simple as that... tom jones has the better voice, not only in this song.

  • Stevie!!!.... his voice is like honey!

  • Stevie always is great with all different singers/styles....

  • This shows that it' s about talent. Not a black or white issue nor an age issue. Just a piano and two great talents. Period.

  • Oh dear! Although Stevie Wonder is an exceptional musician and songwriter and a huge inspiration to thousands, probably millions of people, he simply can't compete with Tom's booming, pure and powerful voice. When Stevie came in, all nasal and whiny, I just wanted to cringe!

  • @HildaMcFumble Hi McFumble. May I beg to differ. Two different voices. Stevie's is great, a bit higher than Jones from the Valleys. And he created this song. Tom just sings whatever comes his way.

  • @kirkwallboy i believe hilda was commenting on who is a better singer and clearly that is tom jones. not sure what the comment " tom just sings whatever comes his way" is suppose to mean?.....hmmmm interesting. stevie wonder will never be remember for singing ..stevie wonder is a musician, tom jones is a singer

  • @squeaky00 It is clearly NOT Tom Jones. They are both great singers. Different sounds. Stevie has more range, which doesn't make him better, just different. Stevie will DEFINITELY be remembered for his singing!

  • @squeaky00 Stevie Wonder will never be remembered for singing? Oh, come on man. The greatest Wonder hits of all time were hits because why? Because he sung them. And he sung them a lot better than Tom Jones ever could. I don't think you've really listened to Stevie Wonder.

  • "stevie wonder will never be remember for singing"

@squeaky00 That is perhaps the most musically laughable (and ignorant) comment I've yet to read on YouTube; 90% of all r&b/soul singers who have come along since Stevie Wonder patented his special brand of melisma in the early 1960s are clearly influenced by Mr. Wonder as a master vocalist. Tom Jones is great and I love him but puh-lease, qualify your future opinions on the matter with: "I know absolutely *nothing* about music BUT..."

  • @The0Endless0Thread sorry did you say some thing? speak up you mumble....i love you!

  • @HildaMcFumble Please keep news of your tin ear to yourself, Dear... it really is cringe-inducing

  • this is great anyone know where i can download this ??????? pleaseee

  • cudowna uczta :)

  • Stevie is wonder-no words avout tom

  • Hell yeah. Two of the best men in music.

  • здорово!

  • Kein anderer Sänger ist so vielseitig, wie Sir Tom Jones! Liebe dieses Duett!!!

  • omg some of you people havent got a clue lol, Tom Jones is good and Stevie Wonder is good but in different ways, its simple!. Singing isn't all about how much vocal sliding you can do that will define you as better singer. they both deserve credit for this for putting on a good vocal performance as well as both working with each other well.

  • @ADzyMiLNer

im only 16 bla bla bla

    CONGRATS!?!?!?!

  • @ADzyMiLNer

Can we talk about the music instead of your age, please?

You must agree that music is more important than age.

    Stevie's music is divine.

  • @ADzyMiLNer you don t need to be 70 to love him, little shit

  • @simariato

man, I couldn't have said it in a better way.

  • @ADzyMiLNer It matter not how old you are, Stevie is timeless

  • @ADzyMiLNer I'm 20 but at 16 i knew humility

  • Thats funny, Tom with a more versatile voice, where have you been for the last 40 years?

  • aye oh well Tom only sang all genres lol :D

Could have done opera, with proper training hmmmm.... More versatile? right!

  • His last album of new material was in 2008, actually. Did a really worthwhile album of duets, "Reload," in about 2000, and a mostly horrible hip-hop album with Wyclef Jean in between.

  • I love them both but i must say stevie outstaged tom in this one. If tom had been like 15 years younger with a more versatile voice it would have worked better I think..

  • this is such a great performance! love both of them! stevie is one of the greatest composers singers and tom has one of the greatest voices ever.

  • great artists!

  • very good vid.

  • Man... have you got a problem!

  • Man... have you got a problem, your psychiatrist must be ripping you off!

  • no, but your mummy

  • check out the "fugees blame it on the sun" it's great

  • this is heavy!

  • tom...the best

  • Stevie Wonder I Love You!

  • tom jones doesnt 6touch stevie although hes great stevies got true soul and his rifs and agilty in his chords is truly incredible.

  • you are comparing apples and oranges. stevie is a composer also , and that makes him different. his creativity is different.

  • and so do most males

  • Am looking for Annie Lennox singing this song. Be really grateful if anyone can find it......I remember it on some tv show???

  • Lets just chill people, enjoy the music, and the beer, and the sun setting, fantastic!

  • Where, indeed....Like I always say: What once was the truth, forever remains the truth...

  • tom is fine for what he does but he is no where near wonder's league. as an artist tom imitated and burlesqued a tradition the blood and soul of which artists like wonder were baptized in.

  • Wilson Pickett said Soul Singers want to sing like him, where Tom replied with respect that i copied you, and Otis said that Tom was the only real white soul singer.

But imitated is by far wrong said, he has Soulful voice and really has soul and that voice is one of the most known, there is not many who can match his vocal ability, there is noone like him. Ofc he was influenced by and he influenced others.

And if you look British Soul, he has done for it much, he has done it since the Sixties.

  • And i see what you mean i just wanted to add my 20 cents..

  • well said/

  • thanks.

  • incredible song, fantastic duet!

  • fuckin beautifull song men

  • im not looking at the hair..he has so much more to look at.. the great face..........

  • Such a beautiful song...

  • its not only rude but its plain ignorant! but its your loss not other peoples !

  • Ez fordítva van... vazzeg :)

  • Two major voices.

  • kinda rude to say, but you can tell the approx year of the footage by where stevie's hair has receded

  • Great!!!

  • fuck yeah!

  • I love this, it reminds me of my own piano

    guy, such a beautiful song.........

  • 1992

  • i loved both of them. (did stevie's voice changed allready-i guess not)

  • wht year was this done

  • GRAN DUO DE "SUPER ESTRELLAS" !!!Gracias¡¡¡

  • MAGNIFIQUE ... quel pianiste! Une merveille, such a genius !

  • I love Stevie's voice. He always made some magic in his song (sory 4 english it's not my language)

  • beautiful!!

  • Ill blame it on the time

    It never was enough

  • Ill blame it on the tide

    and the sea

  • Wow ... two true superstars playing together... GREAT!!! AMAZING!!!

    and lovely

  • Lovely, thanku:)

  • Nice one, Gilly! Cheers!!!

  • thankyou for sharing with me gilly.its lovely

  • A great duo of Motown & blue eyed soul mix !!!,.ktf.

  • STEVIE WONDER YOU ARE AMAZING

  • Not the best stevie vocal performance by any means, I've heard a couple of performances like this where he overdoes the melisma. I had a chance to see him recently and feared his voice had deteriorated over the years but his vocals were absolutely incredible. He still has his voice.

Surprised at how well Jones sang this too.

  • stevie wonder = legend

  • You can listening Stevie and Tom´s music in martiniinthemorningdotcom

    Gorgeous listening..¡¡

  • \stevie blessed by God...thank u lord for such a gift

  • All in all: the song is great, but the chord in 0:15... I don't know. I feel a little bit unwell, hearing this... but the rest is ingenious!!!

  • Oh!!! wonderful.

  • stevie is great but he is frasing bit too much.

  • Wow no way does Tom Jones sound black ! He sounds just like his race . Why is it ok for someone white to sound black ,yet if anyone says a black persons sounds white ,they often cant sing or dont have soul ?

  • Like who? what black singer sounds white and can't sing? Johnny Mathis? he CAN sing but he doesn't sound black? what is "sounding black" what is "soul" as it pertains to singing? (I don't know how to describe soul, but I think know what you mean-Aretha Frankiln has soul right? I have never heard of this phenomenon about people sounding white or black either you can sing or you can't-there are only two kinds of music good or bad-good country/bad country-good rock n roll/bad rock n roll!!

  • to soulbro313:

I just came across this quote, thought you might appreciate it, he is speaking in regards to Mr. Tom Jones... "the only white soul singer", Wilson Pickett

  • Joe Cocker?

  • wh1bs:

    Thanks for your reply!

You know it. The one and Only......

    .Mr. Joe Cocker; SuperStar!

He definitely ranks among the Best of the Best, no doubt about it. Thank You for acknowledging him, and reminding me of this musical legend.

Happy Holidays to You and Yours

  • Both are great talented singers with their own unique style.

  • Love them both so much. This was beautiful!

  • Not to take anything away from Mr. Wonder, but I prefer a more husky and gritty soulful sound of the black singers of the past; like Mr. Jones sings. Mr. Wonder has a more smooth and sweet sound. Both phenomenal artists, different vocal techniques and different styles make for a nice blend. Don't forget when Mr. Jones came on the scene, the public thought he was black; his sound was so soulful.

  • why would any body want to do a duet with stevie wonder? he destroys everyone he sings with to the point where it is embarrassing. not to take away from tom jones he is amazing in his own right but whose better than stevie?

  • I'd almost always agree, but I do think Tom Jones did this song a lot of justice and it was a great choice for a duet. Really good performance by the both of them.

  • I dont think the point in a duet is to figure out whos better, this isnt a hip hop battle... The point is, to me, that they match and make good music either together, either separate.

  • go fuck yourself

  • why...because i don't like your favorit singer...haha...you pathetic loser... It's just my opinion, since when do you care about that? I happen to like Tom Jones because of his vocal ability and stage presence. I don't care if you don't like TJ. It's just your opinion.

btw..i'll go and fuck my wife if thats ok with you......

  • I like both of them. Although i do like like Stevie more. You're entitled to you own opinion and there's no reason for anyone to get angry at whose singing you like.

  • thanx.... and enjoy stevie. i'll go on and enjoy Tom's songs...

  • Amen brother or sister!

  • 2 of our very best here! beautiful!

  • Stevie sings with a very beautiful timbre, in this video!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This was 1992.

  • this was on vh1 back in 1991

  • Have you got the rest of the Stevie wonder and tom jones footage? It was from a show called "the right time"

  • They sang in 60s too, This is Tom Jones u can buy the Vol 1, he also sings with Janis.. Great..

  • This is totally fantastic. Who woulda thought Stevie & Tom?

  • The harmony is awesome... two legendary vocalists right here!

  • SPECTACULAR!!!

  • nevermind ignore my comment

  • not even. This song is off of Stevie's Talkingbook. That was in 1972.

  • haha
