  • i just met someone with similar eyes

  • looks like Keira Knightley

  • good voice!!!!

  • Ive had this version on 7" since the day it was released. Superb stuff, gives the original a run for its money! Great work by Bowie & Ronson.

  • What does Andy Warhol do on it(if thats not a rude question!)?

  • @Jonchess Andy Warhol is the name of the song. Weren't born a man is the name of the album.

  • Help! I accidentally hit the "thumbs down" button! I meant to use the other one.

  • great vocal by dana..check the peel sessions as well!.

  • super posting...1973..!!...oh!gimme bak me hair..!!

  • Can we post "Wern't born a man" ?? not heard it for 30 years but still vivid...

  • thTandy

  • M.Ronson....Great job here.

    Stardom Road

    Dizzy Heights

    Weren't Born A Man

    All Cut Up On You

Great tracks from this '73 album.

  • JULBEZ!,and you are???????

  • was she from Andys Factory?

  • I remember buying this LP purely because of the picture on the sleeve.

    Happy days

  • Then you should seen the german single sleeve that was some brutal cleavage. Dizzy Heights on B-side and she wore some harem lady stuff

Great, great version of the song

  • i saw dana sing this song in concert a few times in 70s,a fantasric under rated voice & performer!.dana is still touring so check out her website for dates!.

    she still looks great!.

  • I just LOVED this LP. If you get a chance post "Mother don't be frightened" or the title track. And I've been looking for a version of "Get My Rocks Off" off 'Ain't Gonna Play No Second Fiddle' for age. Brilliant cut - thank you!

  • Seriously though- she is truly the most brilliant singer that has yet to see the most deserved huzzah . DANA!!!

  • what a fantastic song and dana so underated this is one of my all time fav songs.

  • Dana G. Was managed by Mainman, David Bowie's management Team. This song was written by Bowie as a tribute to Warhol, and Bowie and Mick Ronson actually produced this track for Dana--that would be Bowie on acoustic guitars and Mick on Electric Guit. How is that for cool!!!

  • Good Call!

Anyone heard the Stone Temple Pilots version???

Scott Weiland's voice suits this a lot!
