  • why it get down on see????? was fuel finished?? Or bad guys did not know that water can destroy airplane!!!

Somebody know what happened? I hear in English bad. Please, somebody, tell me story about this bad accident.

  • @videohost199 The plane was hijacked by terrorists trying to fly the plane somewhere else but the plane only had enough fuel to get to it's destination. So when it ran out of fuel it started falling out of the sky and crashed.

  • but he did'nt do it safely only 50 survived , and that pilot had been on 2 other flights that had been hijacked

  • @MultiPlatformGamerz yeah its really not possible to safely land into sea, and also some passengers inflated their vests before crash which caused them to be trapped inside.

  • i see this in polish tv :D

  • dumb nigger hijacker

  • @gg2000gg2000 dumb racists . a n99aa pilot too

  • loool

  • wonder why they wanted to go to australia?

  • i think the pilots were heros that day...its so smart to have landed so close to the beach..many say its dangerous...i say its brilliant thinking...look how many ppl survived...if they had been out in the middle of the ocean they would have all been waiting days for rescue...kudos to the pilots...great job

  • @delaney12 I agree theyre heroes.

  • All things considered, the pilot did a great job, your just not going to get much better of a landing of a passenger jet in the ocean!

  • @ricadrew US Airways flight 1549? Although that was in the Hudson river , bit smaller than the Indian Ocean.

  • word to the wise.. you DO NOT INFLATE your lifejacket until you are about to leave the plane.. had those people who were not injured and were able to swim out of the fuselage done so, they would ahve been alive.

  • i though it was the hijacker wo controled the plane

  • @jin7210 Apparently yes, a hijacker drinking whisky tried to fly the plane but on another video on YouTube they said the piltot manage to wrestle control of the aircraft back from the hijacker, he flew the plane over a hotel and onto the water which is the footage you see here.

  • that"s is not funny that"s realy.......i hate de video!!

  • This is why i'm fucking scared of planes because 1 tornadoes 2 FUEL 3 hijacking hoes 4 engine failure i just don't wanna go on them id rather listen to justin bieber

  • @Degitalxxxde3trgfXXX yes me too I will stay here where God intended

  • @Degitalxxxde3trgfXXX What the fuck do tornadoes have to do with planes?

  • @Tundraboy05 You really have no brain a tornado can own a plane in seconds

  • @Degitalxxxde3trgfXXX Nope, you aren't thinking. Who the fuck flies an airplane during a tornado warning or watch?

    Pretty sure no-one does that.

  • @Degitalxxxde3trgfXXX i completely agree i hate justin bieber but id raher kiss him than be in a plane

  • the pilot did a greak job on this water landing but the retarded passengers inflated there life jackets inside the plane which caused a higher loss of life as only a few died from inital impact the rest drown

  • This was actually the captain's third hijacking.

  • Ethiopian Airlines Flight 961 was hijacked on 23 November 1996 en route from Addis Ababa to Nairobi on a Bombay - Addis Ababa - Nairobi - Brazzaville - Lagos - Abidjan route, by three Ethiopians seeking political asylum in Australia. The plane crash-landed in the Indian Ocean near Comoros after running out of fuel, killing 125 of the 175 passengers and crew on board, leaving 50 survivors that are injured.

  • @KorvMackan2424 If I wanted to read those exact words I would have looked up "Ethiopian Airlines Flight 961" on Wikipedia, which is where you copy-and-pasted that from.

  • @Experiment47 Good for you and thank's for telling me. Someone asked which flight it was and I answered. Idiot!

  • @KorvMackan2424 But you didn't answer, you just copied some elses work and claimed it as your own, that's called plagiarism, and is a sign of intellectual dishonesty, if you're okay with that, so be it.

  • @Experiment47 I simply clarified which flight it was. I did not claim it was my own information and it's not called plagiarism if you get it from Wikipedia the FREE encyclopedia. You're acting like a fool!

  • @KorvMackan2424 It doesn't matter if you got it from a free encyclopedia. From Wikipedia: "plagiarism is the use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work."

And to say "I did not claim it was my own information", is bullshit, all comments on YouTube, or anywhere, are taken as ones own work by default, unless told otherwise.

But as I said, plagiarism isn't a crime, it's just intellectual dishonesty.

  • Ther is a big diffrence bwten this an dthe US airways. The us airways lost engines when it took of and ther fore the pilots wher low on the ground and had no proplems with the tides. But on this ne it is on the open ocien it is a B767 wich is diffrent than an A320 and ther wher tides and stuff the pilots have to deal with

  • get a life

  • It's amazing what one factor can do. With US Airways 1549, the pilot had lost both engines and managed to glide the plane safely into the harbor (NOT a hard feat all, just a normal landing). But with Ethiopian 961, hijackers were added to the mix. Had they not been present in the cabin, the captain would have been able to safely land the plane. But they were in the cabin, and as a result the horrible breakup happened...

  • thats so fake for filming on so many levels

  • it was quite stupid to inflate the life vest, what a bad way to die- being stuck under an airplane because you inflated your life vest too early

  • Dang... more passengers could have survived if they haven't INFLATED THE VEST BEFORE CRASH. It says pretty clearly on the evacuation guide: "Inflate vest before exiting the plane."

  • i watched this, i feld soo sorry for the people so worried that they would die inflated their life jacket before exiting the plane

  • You meant to say "after" somewhere in there, or I'm just having a brain fart.

  • @jubjub525 no, its says AFTER not before.

  • The pilot survived. Watch the investigation on this. They interview the pilot

  • what do i type to find the whole thing ??

  • Imagine if he had listened, they would've had to have been in the middle of the ocean. At least they landed off the coast

  • wow

  • fucking noob if u wanan go to australia why dont u boo ka flight for australia.... simpler taht way dont u think retrd

  • they dont have money

  • Thats no excuse for killing Poeple. Stupid People shouldnt mix with High Tech. Best Example: Jihadists!

  • thats their problem their so retarded they confused maximum capacity with F.O.B.

  • They confused maximum capacity of what with f.o.b?

    also, what is f.o.b?

  • f.o.b: fuel on board. : they confused the aircraft's maximum capacity with the fuel on board he's retarded planes are loaded with a specific amount of fuel they dont just load the whole thing up

  • Ok thx for the reply and yeah, that is retarded :S

  • Comment removed

  • crappy emergency landing wtf he landed wing first ur spose to land on the belly genttllly...

  • lol u retard u have no fuel and theres about a meter high waves and one of ur engines is damaged causing it to be heavier no wonder it was slightly off now stfu

  • no fuel does not prevent you from landing straight the engine damage watev trim the ruddder to compensate and it wasnt slightly off it was completely off

  • Idiot....

  • FREDS gay

  • the only reason it flipped and fell apart was becuase it hit a coral reef just below the surface of the water

  • both pilots survived

  • no the co pilot survived but the captain died

  • nope both survived, wikipedia says so and my father confirmed it - he worked on the case.

  • oh i just saw someone said it o another vid about this so ok.

  • water landings are the worst.

  • i think theyre amazing. water splashes.

  • LOL what some1 never done before until US Airways yes i know this was in 96

  • hardtrucker18

but the US Airways doesn't run out of fuel and there is no hijacking situation !!!!

  • i know but it was still a water landing

  • iight bro!!

  • yea and it was on a river rivers dont have waves so its easier.

  • and us airways is on a river not the open sea with waves n all

  • @leviathan94xxx If your talking about the recent one with Us Airways isnt it on a bay?

  • it waz an average landing. weight inbalance caused this wierd landing?

  • I dont know about that but I know it tipped over like that cos one wing hit the water first (the water going over the wing and forcing the plane over due to its speed or something) rather than like in the Hudson landing where the plane hit evenly.

  • he wanted to make a landing parallel to the island but he was too low..and too fast

  • the engines of the plane are so big that if you' d land it 0 degrees of bank it would cause the plane to brake insanely fast and becuz of that the plane would break. so he wanted to do that wingtip first so it slows him down and later put the rest of the plane in the water. btw the pilot did an AMAZING job.

  • say no more..

  • he still died tho

  • i thougt the pilots both survived

  • Omdz Am Goin On Ethiopian Airlines Dis March Am So Scare Jannoe

  • i would have survived

  • I Feel Sorry For Them!!

    Bad Things Just Hapend

All Be Good Someday When You Get Ready To New Life

  • you're such a bullshitter.

    fake!

  • ur an idiot.

  • pizz off tkodawg u racist shit

  • Fucking terrorist scum, kill all who believe in jihad!

  • Damnit, and the landing was so perfect very smooth. Great piloting, unfortunately its not a water plane :/

  • I mean the left wing!

  • well he did land it on the open ocean, but i dont think he got the "safely" part.

  • omfg.. Can you imagine how petrified they must've been!?

  • a seem the yesteday the aircraft braks in 3 cockpit cbincrew tail

  • where can i get the full documentary?

  • check "Ethiopian Airlines Plane Hijack pt 1" under the "Related Videos" section to the right!

  • The landing (probably) would have worked if the plane hadn`t been one of the newer models with the bigger engines hanging lower. The plane would have probably just skidded on the water and slowly floated down, instead of crashing and sinking.

  • The pylon design has been around since the 1950's. The reason why this plane broke up so dramatically was the last-minute struggle between the hijackers and the pilots, so Captain Abate's then-winglevel approach became a dip to the left. The shallow water also contained hard corral reefs and rocks, any plane will not survive the impact in one piece.

  • OK, that's just what I heard in its documentury on the show "Mayday"

  • The aircraft broke up becuase the right wing touched the water first!

  • The hijacker thought that the plane had a full tank of gas, when it really only had enough to get to the set destination. The caption triyed to explain, but they didn`t beleive him.

  • Could you please post this episode if possible as I haven't seen this one but I do remember seeing it on the news.

  • how many people died/ lived :O

  • 125/50

  • alot of those ppl would've lived but hey were to stupid to listen to teh instructions "get out of the plane then inflate it" those ppl inflated their life preserver inside the plane, thus getting themselves trapped

  • 50 people survived & 125 lost their lives.

  • ive seen this one

it was the first episode i saw

    but ie seen lots now

  • beacause he is a dummy

  • The video clip when the plane is landing in the water is real footage.

  • i know

  • it was actually his third,solomonpilot767...

  • Yes,his plane was hijacked twice before.

  • Kudos to the pilot, he is one of the best!!

  • add the rest moron

  • o merde j'aimerai pas etre a leur place !

  • Improvisation aside, keep in mind that this is the re-enactment of a real crash, based on cockpit voice and data records which survived the impact. The water landing at the end is actual footage of the real thing, as several beachgoers managed to catch it on tape.
