Shouldn't the FDA take a look at a whole bunch of other FDA approved procedures then? This is an elective surgery and you should do your own thorough homework to find answers and a good surgeon, and not just dive in and expect to see perfectly and with no complications. The better the surgeon, the better the result and the lower your chances of side effects....take some responsibility....
Be concerned about your safety and avoid the complications by being prepared. check out safelasikguide [dot] com and read the whole site before you make a decision.
LASIK was the worst decision of my life, it felt like a thousand needles sticking my eyes. They market it like it's painless but it's not. The suction ring felt like it pulled my eyes out of their socket. LASIK promotes permanent conditions with no cure:
-Dry Eye Syndrome
-Double Vision
-Night Halos/Starbursts
-Depression
-Loss of Visual Acuity
-Accelerated Aging of the Eye
-Lack of Natural Tear Production
-Each Year Post LASIK Vision Gets Progressively Worse
LasikComplications, LifeAfterLasik,LasikScam, Lasik-Flap, LasikFraud, LasikSucks4u2, UsaEyes, LasikNightmare, FlawedLasik, LasikSurgeryWebsite, LaserMyEye, MyLasikStory, SurgicalEyes org, DoctorMyEye , LasikLiberty, VisionSimulations, EyeFreedom , NoBlur...Show me another procedure that has this many patient websites trying to WARN YOU to NOT have LASIK and how UNPREDICTABLE it has become, now being an epidemic!! YouTube: FDA LASIK and watch and listen to the estimated 600,000 ruined lives!!!
I had severe complications after LASIK, and must now wear hard contact lenses for the rest of my life. It was so bad that I am really lucky I am able to see well again.
But, what if, a patient takes the LAW into their own hands, now ruined and suicidal feeling there is nothing to live for? Doesn't this create an "x" factor for the Lying LASIK Doctors to think about? Does safety now come before money for once? Only time will tell. Basically, the Lying LASIK Doctors have lied in order to save a lawsuit, while pushing the patient past the Statute of Limitations to sue them which is about 2 years usually, all while ruining his patient's eyesight and life.

LASIK ruined my eyes, my eyes are painfully dry and eyedrops don't help, the only thing that helps is GOGGLES....
