I say since NHRA has a ProMod class now,but it isn't on TV with the other big boys,why not bring back PST on put it on the week-after coverage with Pro-Mod and the Alcohol classes?! Win-Win I think!

Pro Stock Truck still exists as a Comp Elim class (PST) but not as a seperate Eliminator.

I think PST has more relevence to the fans rather than the 'Old School" Pro Modified class.

PST helped promote modern pick-up sales.

I want the NHRA to return the Pro Stock Truck division next year. So far...I haven't see one death in that division they eliminated :(

358 ci small blocks and manually shifted 5 speeds, instead of lenco planetary transmissions. The driver had to do some driving.

The Lenco isn't a whole lot different from wahts run in these trucks. Clutchless 5 spds. Same as the Pro-Stock cars.

Yeah, I forget the years, but NHRA had a truck class that ran with the pros for a few years but got rid of it due to lack of interest and probably the difficulty of juggling 5 pro classes. They got rid of it suddenly though and it led to legal problems for NHRA since they gave the teams so little notice.

Truth was, they dropped it because it was getting too much attention. The Nitro teams were whining because of all the attention the pro stock trucks were getting.
