I think it's just bad english.I think the uploader meant trying/attempting when they used the word "CHALLENGES". The guy kicks ass.I can't imagine any serious player saying "I challenge Guthrie" , or any great player.I'm sure they would know that would bring some negative comments,although I thought the same thing when I 1st read the title(that's why I looked at it).

i agree with you once a song is done its done the beauty of guthrie is that when he plays this and his other stuff live he can improvise without a thought.... where as  everyone else becomes a clone even his hair is a bit of a rip off ...

Haha.  I'm sorry. But I started laughing once you got to the first riff of the song. Guthrie Govan is REALLY good at keeping everything fluid. And in time. And everything else for that matter. Anyway.. work with a metronome and on your fluidity.. you'll get there.
