As 'monapropertygirl' pointed out, the film is indeed Russian - directed by Alexander Ptushko and originally entitled "Sadko," and director Ptushko never intended the Sadko character to actually BE Sinbad, but his name was changed for the English-dubbed version.
Cool! Thanks. I actually kind of LIKE this film. I'd buy the original if I had the cash. Which- which I don't. Oh well, MST is hardly a bad substitute (especially for this butchered version) <3

"Oh you know what, I saw The Magic Voyage of Brad Garrett."
"It's a cast of farmers!"
"Beyond the temples of India, and further even than the jewel cities of Arabia."
"Lies the city of Minneapolis."
"Sinbad has returned."
"And nobody seems to care."

I love Crow's irritated but tolerant look when they come back from commercial. Trace was such a good puppeteer.

I love the creativity on this show. A good example is how they figured out if you put crow's net on upside down, it looks formal. I love these guys!

The people were dressed poorly, and seemed hungry and tired.
"We're hungry and tired."
Where as the wealthy merchants seemed richer then ever.
"Yet they also looked like crap."
