Let's see. Clean cut guys. No tattoos. Not dropping the f-bomb between each song. Yeah, I can see them at the GOP convention. Meanwhile, over at the DNC, who ya got? Kanye West? I think I know where I'm going. I really don't like country music, but I try to support it because the guys seem to understand we cannot all act like the dems & Michael Jackson.

i think western christianity is quite industrialized and corrupted...you have lot of things under "christianity" there...

Although a Christian, I have never understood quite well this right wing-evangelicals association. I know communists used to be atheists, but please, there is a lot more in the world, human mind and spiritual world than just the old worn-out right and left crap (excuse my language maybe I'm not a good Christian after all). I think we can offer quite a few new things to the world as Christians. And it's a little sad to see some evangelicals commentaries based on mere ignorance. We can do better!

Uhh... its just a band playing at a political convention... its nothing new. You know the song "Where oh where can my baby be?" by Pearl Jam? (I know it was a cover) They're first ever introduction of that song to the public was at a Democratic National Convention.
